Chapter 9

Katelyn is positively relieved all of the boys and their bodyguard are here. Everyone is currently in their living room, placed in random places. No one is sitting. Anxiety and fear have taken that luxury from them.

            Katelyn paces back and forth. “What are we going to do? I don’t want to be nearly murdered again! I’m scared. I’m really, really scared,” Katelyn sputters to anyone who is listening. “I haven’t slept in two nights. I have horrid bags under my eyes. I think I’m starting to go insane. I’m bound to have a panic or anxiety attack. I’m worried I’ll give myself an ulcer. Nothing is going right. I’m extremely scared. What are we going to do?”

            Paul and the boys exchange looks. Paul takes the lead and starts to explain what he has decided. “Girls, I haven’t been directly involved in the situation before, but that’s the end of that. The boys – Louis in particular – explained to me what has happened in the past with this Ashley character. I have a plan in mind, and the boys have willingly agreed…but I need your go ahead too. All expenses will be covered and your location will be kept as discreet as pos –,”

            “Wait, wait, wait just a moment,” Addison buds in. “What is this plan exactly? Are we going somewhere? I know I’m a wom – Niall, stop laughing. I know I don’t act like one per say, but I AM ONE! – women, but my mother needs to know where I am going. I speak for Katelyn’s dad as well. Ever since the Ashley incident Katie’s dad has been really on edge about her safety and where she’s going. That’s why he calls every other day to check up on her. So I can’t go anywhere, especially impulsively without my mom’s permission.” Addy shakes her head. “I’m sorry, I totally interrupted you there. Keep going,” Addy says quietly when she sees the face Paul is giving her.

            Instead of Paul speaking this time, it is Zayn. “Addison, you didn’t let him finish. I know that both of your parents have been strict about your safety. I wouldn’t have agreed if Paul hadn’t said what he did.” Zayn looks at the floor. “I don’t know how willing you are going to be, but if we can get both of your parents on board, the group of us are going to –,”

            The rest of the boys all interrupt Zayn to shout, “LONDON!”

            Katelyn and Addison share a look with widened eyes. “London?” They ask together, both awestruck by the idea.

The idea of leaving the continent freaked both of them out a little bit. They’d never been out of the province, let alone gone to a different continent! It also intrigued both of them though, it was an adventure. Seeing the different scenery and meeting new people would be fun and interesting.

            “Yes,” Paul says, “London. The only drawback is you will have to be kept inside the entire time. We have to be incredibly discreet. Louis mentioned that Ashley had tracked Katelyn down via social networking before. Fans will be all over the boys since the tour has been canceled. Some fans are crazy enough to follow them across the world. Everyone’s location is going to be kept incredibly secret. That is why we are taking your parents with us. One person outside of where you are staying that knows where you are can let as big as that slip in simple, everyday conversation which could have a disastrous after affect for Katelyn, and everyone she loves.”
