Reagan stands in the school gym with her arms crossed, waiting for the football coach to start the little assembly so she can get on with her life. As she stands there, drowning out the talking of all her peers who were also waiting, she starts thinking about the mall.

Who was she gonna talk to now that Ryan and Heather were gone? Sure, Martin was a cool guy and all but he was only a janitor and barely went into the store she worked at, Musicland. At least, while she was there anyways. And thanks to the whole massacre from last night, the mall was gonna be closed for the weekend meaning she wasn't gonna be able to work her shift at the mall. Luckily she could still work her shifts at the grocery store.

Someone suddenly bumps into her shoulder and she sees none other than Kate stood there, her arms crossed as well while she stared straight ahead. Reagan looks around herself, confused, wondering why Kate would be standing beside her when the girl didnt like her to begin with. Her question is answered though when Kate says something.

"Where's Deena?" Kate wonders curiously.

"She had to go take a math test she missed the other day. Running a bit late" Reagan informs her and Kate nods. Reagan expects her to leave then since she knew the answer to her question but Kate doesn't move. Instead, she pulls out a little notepad, reading through it. Reagan raises an eyebrow at her.

"Uh, need anything else?" Kate looks up at her with a raised eyebrow of her own.

"No" She scoffs.

"Okay?" Reagan nods, slightly confused. Kate never wanted to be alone with Reagan. Deena or Simon always had to be with them. So for Kate to be with her, just her, she was confused. She turns back to facing forward, thinking Kate will eventually leave after she's done doing whatever it is she's doing, but after a few minutes, the two standing in awkward silence, Reagan realizes it's not gonna happen.

"Whatcha doing?" Reagan wonders.

"Standing" Kate shrugs innocently.

"Right. But, why here? I thought you didn't like me?" Reagan points out.

"I don't. But this is a nice spot you picked out so I'm gonna stay here. You're free to move if you want though" Kate smiles before going back to her notepad.

"But, I was here first" Reagan scoffs.

"And now I'm here." Reagan rolls her eyes then, spotting Deena stood a little ways away from them, looking annoyed about something.

"Fine then. I'll do you a favor" Reagan leaves Kate there to stand beside Deena who turns to look at her confused and then noticing Kate, watching the two of them.

"What's up with you two?" Deena wonders.

"Huh?"

"One minute you two are talking and the next you're standing over here. Did Kate shoo you away for following her around again?" Deena teases and Reagan rolls her eyes.

"Actually, it was Kate who decided to stand next to me. And when she wouldn't leave, I figured I'd come over here to stand with you as to not annoy her" Reagan explains, noticing Deena giving her a look. "What?"

"You are so whipped" Deena scoffs at her friend.

"Whipped? I am not!" Reagan argues.

"You gave up your spot so you didn't annoy Kate, even though you could've stayed just to get on her nerves" Deena points out, rolling her eyes.

"Just a decent thing to do" Reagan shrugs.

"Mmmhmm. Sure" Deena nods, though she was smirking as the Coach finally appears to address the crowd.
