MIAH DECIDES TO SPLIT up with Derek to try and find where Boyd and Cora have taken off too, also wanting to spend some time with the sour-wolf himself.
After a while of following their scents and getting absolutely nowhere, the two sigh at one another before being startled by Derek's phone ringing.
Miah overhears Scott's voice on the other line telling Derek his lost them, "You lost them?" Derek asks, "Yeah. I kind of had to." Scott explains.
"Wasn't exactly the plan." Derek states, "I know. Which is why I think that we should stick together. Trust me, he's too strong, too fast, and way too angry for one person to handle. We've got to do this together." Scott states.
Derek looks at Miah who's watching their surroundings.
She looks back at her older friend and nods happily letting Scott join in with their search for the two out of control betas.
"Look, we're at the trails by the entrance to the preserve. Can you meet us here?" Derek asks.
"Yeah. Just got to drop something off first." Scott says before hanging up on the other line leaving Miah and Derek waiting for the teens arrival.
Miah then sits on the dirt growing bored of waiting around before her phone vibrates in her pocket.
Pulling the device out she sees a message from Lydia on the home screen stating she's going to the store and if she needs anything.
Miah replies letting her strawberry blonde cousin know she's fine for now but thanks for asking her, receiving a smiley face reply from Lydia.
Miah sighs putting the mobile back into her jeans pocket looking around before looking up at the night sky.
Miah gets off the dirt and looks at the entrance of the preserve noticing a figure entering.
She looks at Derek who nods, the three take off running in the direction of the betas scents once again, looking around their surroundings making sure none of them are going to be jumped.
Miah speeds up using her coyote abilities running ahead of the two males, she looks behind her once again seeing the two doing flips over and under the tree she just passed.
The girl rolls her eyes at their unnecessary tactics before looking at the ground seeing what both Scott and Derek are seeing, "Is it them?" Scott asks the two curiously.
