James pov : -
"JAMES IF YOU DON'T WAKE UP RIGHT THIS INSTANT I WOULD POUR A MUG OF ICE COLD WATER RIGHT ON YOUR FACE!"
Shouted mum from downstairs after trying to wake me up from the the last 30 minutes with no fruit. I lazily got up from the comfort of my bed and looked at the clock that usually hangs on the wall behind my bed and my eyes widened.
I only have thirty minutes left for school!.
I hurried into the rest room and did my morning routines as fast as I could.
As soon as I went down the stairs I saw mum had that 'I told you so' look on her face.
My dad was sitting at the dining table but instead of reading a newspaper like a normal dad does, he was scrolling through instagram on his phone.
I had to roll my eyes at both of them, typical morning at the black's house.
I looked at my watch. I still had 20 minutes until school starts so I decided to have some toast before heading to school so that is what I did.

(AT SCHOOL)
As soon as I entered the school I heard a familiar voice to my right. 'hey man' Cole said.
Cole Dawson was my best buddy. We had been friends ever since middle school we would always hang out together.
'hey bro' I replied as I did our friendship handshake.
We went to our lockers which were right besides each other and grabbed our books which we would need for the rest of the day and closed it then locked them with our keys.

(AFTER SCHOOL)
"Wanna hang out at my house today" I asked Cole.
"Sorry man my mother wants me to get something for her today" He said to me with an apologetic smile.
"It's okay man you don't have to feel sorry for such a small thing" I said and laughed and hopped inside my car and drove off after bidding goodbye.

(AT HOME)
"Muuuum I'm home!!" I said as I went inside and dropped my bag on the couch.
"Welcome home sweetie, how was school" she asked as always.
"Normal" I replied lamely.
"You should go upstairs and start packing sweetie" she said making me confused.
"Start packing for what mum" I asked confusion laced in my tone.
"Didn't I tell you I guess I forgot. we are moving to South India in a week darling" she said.
"WHAT!" I exclaimed.
