"Well, he doesn't seem bad" I said then we did girl gossips and went back to the classroom because our stomachs were grumbling.
"Hey James, we're back" Sarah said. As we proceeded to sit on our respective seats.
"So, what lunch" Caria asks being the foodie she always is. I chuckled and shaked my head.
"Well, I've got sandwich" James said.
"I've got chicken biryani" Sarah said licking her lips. GOD!! Why did you have to give me two bestfriends who are both foodies
"EW! Stay away from me for the rest of the lunch break" I said. As you would have guessed I am a vegetarian and hate non-veg with a passion.
"Yeah, yeah whatever" she said.
"Anyways what is your lunch" Caria asked.
"Well, I have chapati ( an Indian flat bread { pronounced as cha-pa-thie}) with Chana masala(chickpea stew with a blend of Indian spices{pronounced as - cha-nna ma-sa-la})" I said.
"What about you Cari" I asked.
"Just Dosa( An Indian pancake made with finely ground rice and lentils{ pronounced as dho-ssa) and podi( a combination of lentils and spices like chilli, black pepper, and cumin{ pronounced as ppo-di}) nothing else"
"You know whenever you say the food names all I hear is Latin language" he said with a confused expression on his face.
At that we had to laugh.
