"Love? Tu agar Krish se pyar karti thi toh Rajvir ke saath kya tha?" Sidharth asked.
"Kuch nahi tha uske saath. Kabhi bhi kuch nahi tha. I never told anyone I loved him. You all assumed it. Maine Maa ko sab bataya tha jane se pehle. Jab pata chala bataya tha."
Sidharth stood there staring at her face, not able to understand what exactly was going on.
Shehnaaz touched his shoulder and before he could ask anything she said, "Sidharth, woh log guests hain. Bahar baithe huye hain. Can we just leave these things to discuss later? Please Sidharth. Let's go outside and talk to them."
Sumitra nodded her head, " Shehnaaz thik bol rahi hai. Chal bahar."

Sidharth and Shehnaaz greeted the Purohits and sat down beside Sumitra.
"Bhaiya aur bhabhi holidays pe gaye the. They had no idea you were coming." Shini said.
Krish asked, "Holidays? Nice. Kahan Maldives ya phir Paris? My favorite holiday destinations are these two. Shalini ka toh Switzerland hai. I have promised her, I will take her there."
"Mahabaleshwar. We went to Mahabaleshwar."
Krish just said, "Oh!"
Sidharth knew what his reaction meant but he stayed quiet.

His father Mr.Tusar Purohit asked, "So, I heard you have a construction company. How's the work going on?"
Sidharth stared at Shini once and then turned to him, "Work is going on well. We have got two new projects. But what you have heard is not entirely correct. I don't have a construction company but I work for it. It's my brother-in-laws."
He looked surprised but just nodded.
Krish asked, "Shalini was talking about his father's factory. Nobody is running it, right?"
Sidharth again looked at Shalini and replied, "It has been sold, years back. Didn't she tell you that?"
Shalini cut in, "Krish, why don't you tell Bhaiya about your plans?"

But before Krish could say something, Ram Purohit said, "Sumitra ji, Shalini ne aap se bola hoga ke hamara sweet business hai. We are number one in Pune. Krish has plans to expand it. He is in talks with investors from Dubai to open our shops there. He will leave for Dubai soon. Hum sab chahte hain, shaadi uske pehle ho jaye. Kyun Bina?"
His wife nodded, "Yes. We love Shalini and want her in our house. Jitni jaldi shaadi ho jaye utna behtar. I know aap log ladki wale ho. Par aaj kal ek acha wedding planner mil jaye toh sab ache se ho jata hai. Krish toh mera chota beta hai, I want everything to be the best. Sab rituals karungi aur woh bhi bade thath se. First engagement karenge then shadi. Destination wedding bhi plan kar sakte hai. Goa ya phir Jaipur. Our older daughter had a destination wedding at Udaipur. It was such a beautiful wedding."

Sumitra looked at Sidharth and then turned to her, "Hume thoda time dijiye. Shalini is my only daughter. Main usse ache se Vida karungi."
"I can give you the number of our wedding planner. He has done all my children's weddings. Ek saath plan hoga toh best hoga. And Sumitra ji, aaj kal kuch arrange nahi karna hota. Sab yeh log kar lete hai. From dresses to jewelry to catering and even dance choreography. These people plan and handle everything. All you need to do is to throw some money. Paise do toh sab possible hai in a short time. Kyun ji, boliye?" Bina said with a laugh.
Sumitra was silent and forced a smile.

Ram Purohit said, "You don't need to worry so much. Chaliye engagement kar dete hai abhi, shadi kuch dino baad kar denge. Dubai se aa kar nahi toh kar dega. Right son?"
"Yes, I can do that. Mujhe Shalini ka passport aur visa bhi ready karane honge."
"Good, then it is settled now. Pehle engagement, phir dhoom dham se shaadi hogi. Dekhiye Sumitraji, hamari badi family hai. Our relatives from different places inside and outside the country will be coming for the wedding. I just want everything to be beautiful and perfect. Acha Shalini beta, yeh actual house hai na? Farmhouse koi tha na where you used to go on holidays? Where is it? Is it big enough for a good gathering? We could organize a roka there before the party back home. This house looks a bit small."

Sidharth stared at her "Farmhouse?"
Shini tried to say something but she kept silent after Sidharth gave her a stern look.
