Lily Narration:

For All The Children To Whom We Entrust The Future

"Who wants to go first tonight, for feelings? My father asked, at the conclusion of their evening meal.

After Noah death, things haven't been the same. Now being more quiet as we looked around.

It was one of the rituals, the evening telling of feelings

Me and Noah used to argued back then wondering who's goes first. Of course our parents were part of the ritual; they too told their feelings each evening. But like all parents all adults they didn't fight and wheedle for their turn.

Tonight my feelings were too complicated this evening. I wanted to share them but I wasn't eager to begin the process of sifting through my own complicated emotions, even with that I knew my parents could give.

"You go Lily," my father said, with my hands wiggling

"I felt very conflicted, my group mates was hanging out this afternoon and we had a visiting group of sevens, and they didn't obey the rules at all. One of them- a male I don't know his name, kept going right to the front of the line for the the slide, even though the rest of the sevens were all waiting. I felt so angry at him. I made my hand into a fist. I couldn't believe he was allowed to misbehave and no one scolded him, I wanted to but my friends stopped me saying it wasn't worth it"

"Why do you think the visitors didn't obey the rules? I asked mother

"I don't know they acted like" considered and shook my head

"Animals?" My mother said with me agreeing "that's right!"
