SEVEN | Can't Take the Gang Out of the Boy

"Order for Sakura!" The barista announces in the small drink shop.

Sakura gleefully walks up to the counter and takes the drink carrier from her hands.

"Thank you so much!"

Things couldn't have been going better for her and Kazutora lately. She wondered...is this what the honeymoon phase is like?

Ever since the wedding, and the night after, things were getting more and more serious. But she was beginning to worry that they hadn't been through anything that challenging yet. Of course, it had to be coming right?

Sakura walked the drinks down the street to Peke-J Land where Kazutora, Chifuyu and Baji were working. She was excited to surprise them with drinks. She had nothing better to do since she didn't have work that day and Kazutora did.

She opens the door to the pet store and is greeted by all three boys.

"I bring gifts!" She smiles.

"You're the best Sakura!" Chifuyu says, walking over to grab his drink.

"Yeah, we just had a rush of people come in and it just slowed down." Baji follows.

Kazutora appears behind Sakura, grabbing her waist and pulling her in to kiss her head.

"Thank you!" He says.

"Of course! I figured you guys could use some refreshments."

Just then, the bell from the door at the front rang. The group turned around to see a man standing there. Outside, behind him, were two other sketchy looking men.

Sakura froze, her eyes widened and it looked like she had just seen a ghost. Her heart began to race and she started to feel sick. She could feel the beads of sweat forming around her face. Him.

"Can I help you?" Chifuyu asks.

The man laughs.

"I finally found you...Sakura." He says glaring over at the pink haired girl with an evil grin.

"No..." She whispers, shaking.

Kazutora, Baji and Chifuyu all look at her with worried expressions. Kazutora was especially worried.

"I don't know what you think you're here for, but you should probably just get out now." Baji smirks at him.

"Wow Sakura...are all three of these guys your boyfriends? I didn't know you could be such a whore." Her ex says.

Sakura looks down at the ground, still shaking. Her body felt numb. She couldn't even comprehend anything else around her. She just stood there, frozen with fear.

"But that's enough playtime...it's time for you to come home, bitch." Her ex continues.

"She isn't going anywhere with you." Kazutora speaks up.

This finally sets the rude man off. He was bugged that Sakura was quiet while these other guys taunted him.

He walked toward Sakura and Kazutora stepped in front of her with Baji and Chifuyu also stepping at her side.

"Let's go Sakura..." Her ex growls.

"I told you, she isn't going any..." All of a sudden her ex swings at Kazutora, but he dodges with his arm. Shocked, her ex brings up his other arm attempting another punch but Kazutora kicks him in the gut, forcing the man to fall back onto the floor.

Angry, he starts to pick himself up off the floor and Kazutora jolts forward to prepare to fight him.

Sakura immediately jumps in front of him, hugging at his sides.

"Please...don't." She begs him, tears filling her eyes.

Everyone stands there in shock. Meanwhile, the front door opened again, but none of them seemed to notice.

"I don't want you to get hurt. I don't want anyone to get hurt! Especially here in this pet shop. This place...and all of you are so special to me. Please...no fighting." She cries.

Kazutora lowers his arm and brings it to her back, lightly rubbing it.

Her ex gets up off the ground and as he is about to yell something, the person who just walked in spoke up.

"No fighting? That sucks...it looked like you guys were having fun in here. I wanted to join." A familiar dark haired boy said with a smile on his face.

They all looked over to see that it was Mikey.

"Who the hell are you? Another boyfriend, hey Sakura?" The ex laughs.

"Hey Sakura, what's going on here?" Mikey asks, completely ignoring him.

"Don't ignore me you little...!"

"Because what it looks like is that you were about to hurt my friends...and I don't like when people want to hurt my friends." Mikey says glaring at him.

"Mikey, please, not in here." Chifuyu sighs.

"Fine." Mikey rolls his eyes.

He turns around to walk out of the store.

Sakura's ex gets upset and chases him outside. The other four race behind them, eager to see what would happen.

"Oh no, I'm not done with y...!"

*SMACK*

Mikey kicked the ex boyfriend, knocking him out cold against the concrete. The two other guys he was with earlier also laid out on the sidewalk.

Draken, who was outside with Mikey, picks his back up from leaning against a lamppost.

"Look Mikey, I still got it! And I guess you do too." He laughs.

Mikey smiles. "Sure do!"

Sakura stood there shocked and looked over to see Kazutora, Baji and Chifuyu smiling. Who really were these guys?

"Well, I don't think you'll need to worry about him anymore Sakura!" Chifuyu says.

"Yeah, no kidding." Baji agrees.

Kazutora grabs Sakura's hand and pulls her into him. He embraces her and lays his head on top of hers.

"Are you okay?" He asks.

Sakura begins to tear up but this time, she's relieved. She wraps her arms around him and tightly grips onto his shirt.

"Yeah, I'm okay." She says with a small smile.

I took awhile to write this chapter because I couldn't decide if I wanted Kazutora to kick her ex's 🍑 or if I wanted her to intervene. I figured Kazutora might possibly unalive him so this was the best route 😅

So I brought in Mikey to get the job done instead! 

This story is almost completed. I'd like to keep my stories around 10 chapters and then go into one shots between the characters after. I have a lot of ideas! But what do you think?
