The next day
Aizawa POV
"Today, I have an announcement to make. We will be putting dorms in U.A. There's four to a dorm. Girls with girls and guys with guys. Pick your roommates and get in a group."

The class got super excited and went to work grouping themselves accordingly.

A/N- For this story, Mineta doesn't exist

"Iida."

"Yes, Mr. Aizawa?"

"Record everyone's groups and leave the paper on my desk."

"Yes, sir."

I went to sleep and didn't wake up until Present Mic announced school was over. I looked at the list.

Boys
1. Izuku, Bakugo, Todoroki, Kirishima
2. Tokoyami, Sero, Aoyama, Kaminari
3.Ojiro, Koda, Sato, Shouji

Girls
1. Urakaka, Hagakure, Tsuyu
2. Momo, Mina, Jirou

Kirishima POV
When Aizawa announced we would be living in dorms, I knew this was my chance to get me, Bakugo, and Todoroki closer to Izuku and find out what's up.

"Hey, Bakubro!"

"Yes, spiky hair?"

"Let's be roommates! We can invite Todoroki and Izuku to live with us, too. Then we can figure out what's wrong with him."

"Not a bad idea, shark boy. Hey, half 'n half! You and the nerd are gonna be in my group! Let him know."

Todoroki then turned to Midoriya, who didn't react at all to the news.

Time skip to after school
"Hey, idiot! You're late." Said my father.

"I'm sorry, sir. Won't happen again, sir."

"You're right it won't happen again. I'mma beat that tardiness out of you, boy!" He said as he stumbled forward.

The house reeked of its usual smell of alcohol. I knew I would get beat today.

You deserve it. You deserve it. You deserve it. I kept thinking that with every punch, kick, and slap. But still, I cried a bit, silently begging him to stop.

After a while, he left the house. I regained my breath and ran to my room. Locking the door, I sighed in relief. I started bandaging myself and cleaning my face.

Why does he use me as a punching bag, I thought. Why hasn't he killed me yet? Why am I still alive. I laid on my bed and stared at the ceiling, lost in thought, until I fell asleep.
