Chapter 7

Next morning
3rd person POV
The four boys woke up at the same time but got out of their rooms at different ones. Deku stayed in his room til noon, only to go to the bathroom.

Todoroki left his room at 1 o clock and went for a walk. Bakugo didn't come out of his room until five while Kirishima came out at 3. He hung out in the living room until Todoroki came back. Then they decided to play some video games.

Bakugo found them watching a movie. He decided to join them.

Deku heard them having the time of their lives but still didn't come out of his room. When the three went back to their rooms, he snuck out and didn't return until Monday morning.

Deku POV
I creep into my dorm at 4 am.

Betcha, they were happy you left. They probably didn't even notice. I know.

I went to visit my mom's grave this weekend. I sat with her for a whole day. As I continued to head for my room, I prayed no one was awake.

"Midoriya? " Todoroki whispered. I turned to the direction of his voice. He had been sitting on the couch. Of course he would.

"T-todoroki! What are you doing?" I whispered back.

"I can't sleep. Where were you yesterday?" He asked. Huh. I guess they did notice I was gone.

"I-i went nowhere. I-it's none of your business where I went, Shoto. Y-you're n-not m-my d-d-dad!" I said as my voice cracked.

Tears of anger were welling up in my eyes. I ran to my room, quietly shutting the door behind me. I fell to the floor and started to sob. I remembered seeing my dad this weekend.

"Hey Izuku. How's it going?"

"I-i'm fine, dad."

"How did she go?"

"I don't know."

"Huh. You know nothing. Same idiot as usual. You probably killed her. You're scared of me, aren't you? Just like you would."

"Y-you're not my dad! My dad would've been there for me. Not abandon me. You're just a stranger who knows my name. I-i I am not scared of you!" And that was when I had left my mom's grave.

I heard a soft knock on my door.

"Midoriya!"

"Go away, Shoto."

"It's Aizawa!"

"Huh."

I opened the door. There was Aizawa and behind him was Todoroki.

"Haven't you heard? Villains have been attacking the campus. Everyone's gone home, except you and Todoroki. He was waiting for you."

"O-oh. I'm sorry. "

"It's fine, problem child. Come along." He led us to his house, into the basement where Kirishima and Kacchan greeted us.

"Deku! I'm glad you're ok. Where were you?" Kacchan said. I can't believe he's glad to see me. It's a trick.

"I was nowhere." I said.

"You guys stay here until I or someone else comes and gets you." Mr. Aizawa headed up the stairs and locked the door.
