"What?" You responded to the information with eyes and mouth wide open and the chips you just chewed could be seen in your mouth.

"Yeah. He asked me out last night." Your friend Mina took the chips out of your hand and closed your mouth with her other hand. You swallowed those chips and batted your eyes.

"You didn't say yes, did you? You can't say yes without my approval." You asked snatching the chips bag back.

"It's not like you're my mom." Mina rolled her eyes.

"Look Mina, I might not be your mom but" you straightened your back and hit your chest in a dramatic way "I'm your best friend and I care for you as much as your mom does. Do you understand?"

"I do, I do. No need for emotional drama." Mina raised her hands in defense.

"But I don't believe that guy a bit. He's been with many girls. He walks and talks like a flirt. I'll have to make sure that he isn't playing you." You ranted in one breath.

"No no, that's his cheeky friend. He himself is a good man." Mina replied with a shy smile on her face.

"That's what they say. But now, it's for sure that I'll have to find out if he's good for you or not?" You were serious about setting out on a mission to uncover the reality of that dude who had the nerves to ask your friend out.

"What is going on in that head of yours?" Mina questioned.

"I'm going to stalk him". You let out putting everything in your bag. Mina opened her mouth to say something, definitely to protest against your decision, but you didn't give her chance and went out at once, "I gotta go."

After exiting the class, you called your best friend Hwanwoong who had all the classes with you but the last one. Dan (the boy who asked Mina out) also shared two classes with you and that's how you got to know him and his cheesy friend Jung Wooyoung. Soon, you had found Hwanwoong and you both started looking for your target. You didn't have to wait for long when you saw him getting out of the classroom, his bestie tagged along. They stood in front of the classroom you had just exited and waved at someone you supposed to be Mina. Then they continued towards the university exit. You tailed them. They got in the car. You thanked God as Hwanwoong's car was just a few cars away. You both jumped in the car and followed them.

"Don't you think that we're being too obvious?" Hwanwoong questioned when you asked him to speed up.

"No, no. Keep a safe distance. They must not catch us." You waved your hands in the air making a cross.
Both of them pulled over in the car parking lot of a cafe. When they were inside it, you and Hwanwoong also followed, trying to hide your face and hence identity from them. You had picked up news paper from the table of a man while he was busy with his phone and your bestie stuck with your back considering that you could cover him fully. When they had gotten their orders and went to sit, you also ordered a drink and chose a safest seat so that you couldn't be seen and have a good view of whatever they were doing. A few minutes and you gagged on your drink. Dan and his friend Wooyoung were sharing a drink, each taking a sip and passing to each other. You put one hand on your mouth while still making disgusting noises whereas the other hand was slapping Hwanwoong mercilessly on his back. .

"Stop it y/n, it hurts." Hwanwoong cried through pain. You retreated your hand and started sipping on your drink but spat it out on the table when you saw Wooyoung rubbing his thumb over Dan's lips and then bringing it back to his mouth to lick off whatever was on the thumb. The commotion caught the attention of a few people, but Dan and Wooyoung were too busy to pay attention to their surroundings. After leaving the cafe, they both went to a club. You and Hwanwoong stood in the corner side eyeing them and saw them in the pool of people, dancing together and moving their hands along each other's body, tracing each and every part. Then they disappeared in the bathroom area. You wanted to vomit right then and there. Hwanwoong was about to get drunk when you snatched the glass out of his hand.

"What's your problem y/n?" He was totally frustrated.

"I think he's a playboy. He asked Mina out but his hands are all over his best friend. We need to tell Mina." You dragged him out of the club and went to a quiet corner. Hwanwoong didn't follow as he stood near the exit, a pout on his face.

"Mina, I need to tell you something." You said quickly as soon as she picked up the call. Mina asked what it was about.

"You know, I've been stalking Dan for a whole day and I've found out something." You wanted to tell her what you had seen but it was not the right time to discuss things in detail.

When you got a curious "what?", you continued. "I think he's in a relationship with his best friend or maybe like friends with benefits. I really don't know, but they were all over each other." You made a disgusted face as you disclosed the information.

"And you must know that I'd seen your friend following us. So we tricked her into thinking that we're together. Don't worry, Dan is all yours. I've nothing to do with him." You were perplexed as to how Wooyoung was there, took the phone out of your hand and told Mina everything. Then he hung up the call.

"Why are you here?" You questioned taking your phone back.

"I should be asking the same question. Why had you been following us?"

"You've got your answer." You rolled your eyes."

"So you were here to make sure that my friend is a playboy as you mentioned earlier, am I right, pretty lady?." He raised his eyebrows.

"Whatever. You two were doing nasty things together." You made disgusting expressions. "He sure is some kind of a pleasure seeker and so are you. That relationship won't last long. And I'm not pretty lady, at least for you" You mentioned crossing your arms.

Suddenly, he started closing the gap between you and him. When you were backed up against the wall, he put one hand above your head and brought his mouth near your ear. "Don't you dare ruin their relationship or else... " he left the sentence incomplete. Your heart was pounding heavily in your chest. He then disappeared in the blink of an eye.

"Disgusting." You uttered while cleaning your ear that was still ticklish. For the next few days, Dan had proven himself to Mina and now they were together which meant that you had to spend time with his best friend Wooyoung when all 4 of you would go out together. Your seating arrangements had also changed. While Mina sat with Dan, you had to sit with Wooyoung. You became enemies to friends gradually and eventually you got together as you should've.
