Ali woke up, in a seemingly unrealistic world. It was a broken city, with many familiar buildings. He reckon it was the old city of Dresden, Germany.
He doesn't know why he got there in the first place. He rememberred that he was reminiscing one of the great poet of the past, but couldn't remember what his lines were.
He took on the steps through a kind of observatorium. It seems that gravity was torn there. Some bricks are floating.
But there were no people.
There were no signs of any living being.
The time is always noon here, he thought. Looking through his clothes, there aren't any watches or phones to look for any information. He just saw a large observatorium, but no, there is a large writings floating above.
It says, "Frauenkirche."
He thought he rememberred the meaning of it. He thinks kirche is a church. That seemed right.
He is confused. How did he end up here?
Then he decided to walk through a bridge, he thinks the bridge is very beautiful, now that the water is also floating. Eager to know the reason he ran and search for any information.
From the phamphlets or even notice in public places, he couldn't found anything. It was just, that this city is some sort of a dream facility. Like it should've never exist in the first place.
But he stumbled across a magnificent portrait of kings, at least that was he thought. And in front of it, there is a statue of a person sitting in a sort of throne.
Again, he searched for another person over again. But, no one comes within his vicinity.
Until one girl was seen sitting in a bench in front of some sort of cathedral. At the front of it, he could see the rough old writings, "sanctis simae trinitis".
"Must've been the name of the building." He thought to himself.
Embracing himself to greet the girl, suddenly the girl turned back and stare at him. It was at a highly unprecedented speed that he shook himself to the ground.
The girl suddenly smiled and say, "oh it's you."
She turned back and he thought, that she's gesturing him to sit down besides her.
Don't know what to do, he sat there.
"Who are you? Why I'm here?" He asked her while seeing one of the magnificent old tram line floats upon a horseman statue.
"What? Did you forget?" The girl said.
She chuckled, "Here let me show you. This is your creation."
Suddenly the scenery changed into evening before sunset time. It was utterly beautiful.
"Perhaps I can slow down the gravity for you." The girl offered. He thought that this girl couldn't possibly human.
"Are you an android?" He asked.
"Yes, Ali, you created me." The girl replied, turning her head 180 degrees. He gasped.
"This is a world of your dreams, from the pages of your favorite poetry. Let me recite it for you."
They walked together to the bridge and to see beautiful ships docked and the sunset shined through the banks.
She recite the poem:
" The day is gone, and all its sweets are gone!
Sweet voice, sweet lips, soft hand, and softer breast,
Warm breath, light whisper, tender semi-tone,
Bright eyes, accomplished shape, and languorous waist!
Faded the flower and all its budded charms,
Faded the sight of beauty from my eyes,
Faded the shape of beauty from my arms,
Faded the voice, warmth, whiteness, paradise-
Vanished unseasonably at shut of eve,
When the dusk holiday-or holinight-
Of fragrant-curtained love begins to weave
The woof of darkness thick, for hid delight;
But, as I've read love's missal through today,
He'll let me sleep, seeing I fast and pray."That's it. He remember it now. It was from his favorite poem in his favorite book.
"Now, I've got to relive it? For real?" He asked and waited for the Android to answer.
She turns back, and said, "Yes, until this city has surrender to your reality, that is." She smiled as warmly as she can.
Ali is flabbergasted. Is it the right word? He thought.
He goes back to walk beside the girl and enjoy the peaceful evening in the lost city of Dresden. And hoped that tomorrow will bring him closer to everything he's dreaming of.
From one page to another.
