3- Search for the last

It had been a couple weeks, and the Dead Realm was still yet to carry out an attack. 

"What could they be planning?" Mei-chan asked, shaking her head. 

Aoi and I just looked at the white rabbit. Mei was right, were they trying to catch us of guard? 

"Whatever they are planning we won't let out guard down! Right, Aoi?" I asked the girl next to me enthusiastically.

"Oh..r-right!" Aoi smiled. she was so cute when she smiled! It just made my heart flutter!

"Good thinking, Kanna. The enemy could very likely be trying to catch us when we are vulnerable so we can never be to careful. We'll need to keep our eyes peeled for any strange activity. In case they just trying to stay in the shadows as to avoid confrontation." 

It was honestly kind of odd, why did they all of a sudden stop their attacks. Maybe it had something to do with Felix's orb? I wasn't sure.

"Aito, Felix has failed me far too many times. But now, I'm leaving it to you to get rid of those pesky Crystal Warriors and bring me more life energy! We have barely obtained enough thus far. Do not let me down." Jayde said, pointing her staff at the taller man. "Of course, Lordess. I will not fail you." He grinned before walking away, giving Felix a nasty glare on the way out. The younger boy just balled up his fists, he couldn't stand Aito...he was such an arrogant jerk. 

"Felix." Jayde said harshly. "I know you are behind that wall. Come out." 

The boy slowly walked before Jayde and bowed. "You called for me oh great one?" 

"You have failed me. I no longer wish to see you. Get out of my sights! I am choosing to show you mercy however. Leave before I change my mind and turn you into a crow for my collection!" She pointed her long black nails at a cage with 2 ravens inside. Felix gulped before turning and leaving. Jayde was a horrible person...a power hungry demon. 

Aito was stronger than Felix, he was also arrogant, self-absorbed and ruthless. He was going to have a blast dealing with the pesky girls he's herd about. First he had to plan an angel of attack. Human, animal or plants? He decided he'd look for a patch of flowers or something similar, take the life energy from them. 

Aoi and I walked to school as we have been doing for the last couple weeks, Mei-chan nearby. It was a lovely day, barely a cloud in the sky, allowing the sun free rule over the sky. "It's such a pretty day." I sang happily. Aoi smiled. "I agree, its warm and feels so nice." 

As we walked onto the school property we both noticed a shorter girl with short dirty blonde hair, and orange eyes. She was carrying a tray of flowers, to be specific they were petunias, red, purple and white. 

"Oh look, those petunias are so pretty." Aoi said softly. 

I smiled, I had forgotten how much Aoi-san loved flowers and plants. "You should go talk to her, Aoi." I told her, giving her a playful shove. 

She nodded. "What do I say?" 

"Just offer to help her carry those flowers." 

I gave the girl a thumbs up as she walked over. 

"Um...hello. Would you like a hand with those trays?" Aoi asked nervously. 

"Huh?" The girl looked over at Aoi, looking up and studying her for a moment. "Oh sure, I'd appreciate that." Her voice was blunt and almost bored. She didn't have my energy nor Aoi's shyness. 

Aoi took one of the trays of plants from the girl. "Where are you taking these petunias?" She asked. 

"I had just found out the school had a garden. I thought I'd bring some flowers to plant." 

Aoi smiled. "Yes! I'm the president of the gardening club, actually." 

The smaller girls face was surprised. "Really? You are?" 

"I am. My name is Shizuku Aoi and the girl over there, that's Midori Kanna. She's a member."

"Oh, I see. Well my name is Mabushii Kouta, but I don't care about formalities so go ahead and call me Kouta." 

I ran over to the two girls. "Hello Kouta! Super nice to meet you! I'll join you guys as you go to the garden!" I said happily. 

Aoi smiled. "Great, we can all 3 go." 

We walked into the garden, Kouta looked so happy. "This place is stunning! I will have to bring my painting supplies after school. You don't mind do you?" Kouta asked. 

"Of course not. We're actually having a club meeting today. You should totally come, Kouta!" I shouted happily. 

"A meeting? Well..." She smiled. "I don't see why not. I'll be there." 

"Awesome! Let's hurry and get to class, and we'll meet here after school!" 

Mei-chan was watching from the bushes...she felt the same energy that she had felt from Kanna and Aoi....perhaps they just found the last warrior.
