Lucy's POV

I had spent most of the day with Loki and while he and I were creating a contract he said something that really caught me off guard. "By the way Lucy...you should be on the lookout for the mistress. I've been speaking with my siblings and we think that her time is near."

What could he mean by that? Who is the mistress? I mean as far as I was aware sometimes the celestial spirits referred to their key holders as mistress, but he referred to her as THE mistress.

"Uh earth to Lucy?? Are you going to eat that?" Natsu asked as his attention pulled me back to reality.

"Huh?" I asked as a blinked a few times before looking down at my now cold bowl of ramen. "No. Help yourself." I said pushing the bowl of food toward him which he happily ingested quickly.

"What's go you so out of focus lately?" He asked with a mouthful of food.

"Something Loki said. It just doesn't make sense to me." I told him as I explained everything Loki had tole me to Natsu. "What do you think he meant by her time is near? Was it a warning or a good thing?" I asked and Natsu reached over and placed a hand on my head to tussle my hair.

"I'm sure whatever it was, Loki was telling you because he believes you can handle it. Don't worry too much on it Luce." He said smiling and I couldn't help, but smile back.

"Yeah you're probably right. Thanks Natsu." I said and he and Happy both smiled. Little did I know that, that day was the last of many peaceful days and I was not even close to being prepared for what was going to come next.  We headed back to the guild and I was surprised to see a serious look on everyone's face.

"What did we miss?" I asked to Levy who was almost shaking out of her skin.

"Headmaster Maven said that she has detected the dark wizard Zeref's presence in the world and knows something is to come. Master says he has a solution, but only if it is deemed absolutely necessary. The two of them are holding council right now as well as all the S-class wizards." She said. I followed her gaze to the second story of the guild where everyone was waiting with baited breath for a decision. We watched on as they discussed amongst themselves.  Makarov seemed to nod as Mavis was talking and the rest of them looked stern as the bowed their heads in respect to Mavis.

Mavis was the first guild master and she was the first one to harness the true genuine power of the fairies to create the guild. It was her that was keeping this guild and it's members going. If she had this serious of a look on her face, I could only imagine that whatever was being discussed wasn't good.

"Freed. It is time." Makarov said and we all watched as Freed wrote some form of script in the air. The air seemed to shimmer and we all watched in shock and amazement as a third level of the guild was revealed.

"Woah! How long has that been there?!" People seemed to ask all along our side of the guild. It looked like there was a job board there and it seemed like these were where the century quests were posted. That must mean that only the S-Class wizards would be able to see that section from the second floor. Murmurs spread like wildfire about what could be behind the one door that was on that floor and of course Natsu tried his best to get up there first, but Freed's magic prevented him from doing so. I could almost hear what Makarov mumbled under his breath.
