Twin Paranormal: Haunted Hearts (River x Reader)

「Chapter 10 - Sallie Whites Warning」

"Are we ready?" Ryan asks, grabbing his camera.

"Yup!" you nod and take your position between River and Wyatt.

Ryan starts recording and turns the camera to face you all with a wide smile. The energy immediately rises and even if you're nervous you are more excited than anything.

"Okay, guys we are here at the Menger Hotel!" Ryan cheers.

"We would probably cheer louder but the thing is we don't have this place to ourselves, " River explains to the camera, leaning in to whisper.

"Haunted or not it's a hotel and they are pretty unwilling to rent out every room for an affordable price, " You point out.

"But that won't stop us!"

"Nope! So once again we have our tour guide, Y/n!" Ryan pans to you.

You smile and bow your head to the camera. Now that you saw how popular they are online you feel even more worried about how you carry yourself. 

"I promise this is the last one you'll have to put up with me, " You joke.

"Don't make promises you can't keep!" Wyatt nudges you.

"Exactly! Also if you guys see our rooms are a bit of a mess I blame the fact Sallie hasn't come to check on us!" Ryan quickly shows their room and turns the camera briefly to himself.

"Don't you blame the ghosts!" You scold him.

"Y/n was telling us earlier that she is pretty shy. I don't think that will help us talk to her."

"Well Wyatt you're the one with a girlfriend how should we talk to her?" Ryan asks.

"Don't say it like that! It sounds like I am dating a ghost!" Wyatt laughs.

"Maybe let's start with a hello and not jump to dating the poor girl who died due to her jealous ex, " You hold your hand out and laugh a little.

Ryan pans to you again and the twins look a little surprised. Wyatt on the other hand nods, he has done a little more research into this with you.

"You could have said that sooner!" Ryan nervously laughs.

"You know now! There are still plenty of options though!" You look to the ceiling in thought for a moment and count on your hand, "We have Richard King, Teddy, and so many unnamed spirits from murders, suicides, fires and the fact the Alamo is right next door."

"Teddy!? There's a little bear running around?" River exclaims and looks at you in a panic.

"Yup! Better watch your ankles, " You hold in your laugh and calmly nod.

"Its the puck it nuggets all over!" River yells.

"Pocket nugget? What?"

"A creature we heard about on a past investigation called a Pukwudgie, " Wyatt says laughing at River.

"Okay, okay let's get this investigation started! But, before we do you guys know what we do!" Ryan says and holds his hand out.

"Come up with something to say!"

You all laugh and begin brainstorming a good rhyme. After a good few minutes, you think you all have a good idea. You walk closer first and lay your hand on Ryans. River stands next to you and places his next and then Wyatt sandwiches all of your hands tightly.

You are thankful you seem to be getting more used to the twin's touch. But Rivers hand and presence still make you unreasonably happy. You can't help but wonder what it would feel like to hold his hand normally.
