The Jade Emperor's POV

My girl, Ryeon has never been happier and she deserves it. To be honest, I can't recognize her anymore! She smiles a lot now, worries less, and her over-all aura is happy. But Joong-Gil? How could I ever begin with the great leader of the escort team? He has been recently reinstated as Head of the Escort Team. His months rotating from one team to another went well in-fact he became more charismatic. All of Jumadeung thought was it was because of his rotation that made him become a much more relatable reaper-person but what they didn't know is it's because of his wife who supported him all throughout his demotion. They never confirmed nor denied their relationship because no one dares to ask them. But with their actions are enough confirmation for the Jumadeung population. I don't know with these kids! They're centuries years old but they still act like they're in their early twenties. Good Lord! I never been a human but I feel like I am a mother or a mother-in-law.

"Hwejangnim, you asked for me." He's always on time. As expected. Donning navy blue 3 piece suit Ryeon must have bought for him.

"Oh yes, Joong-Gil-ah. Please do sit down." I would describe him as The perfect son-in-law. Gorgeous visuals, tall, came from a "decent" family (except for his mother. If Ryeon was my daughter, I would skin that wench alive for all the things she said to my daughter. She makes my blood boil!) & outstanding career. If he would have been alive now I am sure that majority of Korean mothers would like to have someone like him as a son-in-law.

I must say domesticated life suits him. Ryeon recently moved in to his place. That explains why his clothes nowadays has a little bit of color. The bags under his eyes were gone and his over all aura changed for the better. So this is what love did to him.

"Have you ever thought of proposing to Ryeon?"

"I think there's no need ma'am. We're already married. May I ask why you mentioned it."

"Oh nothing. As you see... ah...but have you thought of it?"

"Yes, Ma'am."

"So?" This fool of a man! Why the heck isn't her making his moves?

"We want to take things slow. That's why I did not proposed yet." My eyes went wide because of what I heard. Goodness gracious!

"Is 400 years fast for you?"

"Uhm. I'm sorry Ma'am. I was being irrational." Yes you are.

"Go. Propose to her. Make your wedding grand. Invite the whole Jumadeung, Make a reservation in Shilla Hotel or in Walkerhill if not in Grand Hyatt or wherever! I will pay for it."

"That's so kind of you, Ma'am but.."

I'm sick and tired of this so I cut Joong-Gil off from declining my offer more further. He's getting into my nerves! I would have a heart-attack it I were a mortal! "Think of this as a gift from your Mother-In-Law. You did not had a Mother-in-Law back then so take your chance now."

"Well Ma'am if you insist. I would also prepare for a kireogi and dowry." As you should!

"Whatever suits you. Just make sure that she'll say yes!" He better do! If we were mortals I would ask for a grandchild as dowry. This old lady needs a little bit of Joy anyway!

So the proposal went well. It was just simple. He just knelt to Ryeon in the hallways with two knees in-front of the whole Jumadeung to it's surprise. I was laughing at the faces of the girls who had a crush on him. They were shocked, sad, angry, they were crushed and almost wanted to cry. I also saw the young reaper who had a huge crush on Ryeon but was too afraid to admit and make a move. His face was hilariously ridiculous when he saw the Escort Team Leader who he considers as his Role Model proposed to his crush. It was a moment everyone will talk about in centuries considering that this was the first and hopefully the last. I can't bear any more cringey situations here.

Ryeon was surprised when Joong-Gil popped the question. "But we're already married." She replied. The crowd was even more shocked to hear that. "Vow renewal???" Joong-Gil rephrased the question. This was the first time that the whole of Jumadeung saw the Escort Team Leader stuttering like that. Ryeon snicked at her lover. "Of course Yeobo." Everyone in the lobby cheered when Ryeon answered. That was every conversation topic I heared for the whole month whenever I give-away yogurt to my employees. At first I was so proud because I was the mastermind behind it but after a few weeks I got tired of hearing it so I delegated the delivery task to Mr. Baek.

The preparation was seamless thanks to Ms. Jeon who volunteered to be the wedding planner. I totally forgot that she was an events coordinator in her past life. Ryeon was also hands-on with it in contrast with the groom who was busier than ever because he has just been reinstated. Their chosen date was available. Which was their original wedding date. Ryeon's designer wedding dress was ordered abroad along with the groom's suit and tie. I paid for literally everything! How lucky these two imbeciles are!

When the wedding day came, it was perfect. My, my, my I was so impressed with Ms. Jeon's output and I am thinking about moving her to CorPlan as in charge for events to spice up and modernize company activities. I'm so tired of watching my employees run wearing hanbok!

The couple opted for a simple ceremony but I'm the one who's paying so I have the final say. It looked like a chaebol is getting married to another chaebol. Well, sky is the limit for the budget so it was expected. The ceremony was seamless. It was modern as I haved instructed. Joong-Gil looked dashing than ever! Of course he look modelesque everyday but today was his best look. Ryeon surprised everyone by changing her look. She colored her hair back to black and had hair extensions. I almost din't recognized her like the wrong bride entered the wrong ceremony. Everyone was shocked as well. The bride looked stunning in a silk wedding gown designed by a woman named Vera.

But the highlight of the even were the wedding vows. There's not a dry eye in the venue. Their love was indeed pure and true. It withstand the test of time! Everyone was happy. Jumadeung had a day to remember thanks to these two idiots but in return, I prepared the most important gift anyone could give the couple.

"Have you ever wondered how your child would look like if he wasn't stillborn?" Ryeon looked at me and froze while Jung Gil stopped on his tracks upon hearing my question. "I invited him today."

A tall young man on his late 20s approached us and gave Ryung Gu a "cool" handshake then turned to Ryeo. "Congratulations Timjangnim!" The couple was stunned when they knew the truth. I can't even paint Jung Gil's face on my mind. But I can't help myself to ask him. "How does it feel to choke and throw your own son?"

It was a family reunion only the three of us knew that happened. So the end... oh you expect them to live happilly ever after? Yeah, that happened as well. That's it for me!
