Soobin have never felt so irritated in his life.
He had the sudden urge to make a rebel out of him, and flew across the country just to stay as far away as possible from his house.
Of course, he won't do it; he's just overreacting, but then the idea doesn't sound so bad when his supposed to be step brother has to stay in his room for a while.
He had only met the blonde boy yesterday, and he was already convinced that they would not get along; Soobin has never been wrong about his ridiculously accurate instinct when it comes to people he knew he would instantly dislike.
He could put up with his annoyingly talkative little cousin coming over their house almost every month, literally not leaving Soobin's side like a leech. He managed to get through the summer with Taehyun's sadistic cat, who have done nothing good but to scratch on Soobin's face. He could literally handle anything that was thrown at him, except this.
Huening-fucking-Kai.
Even the mention of his name made Soobin's blood boil, his brow furrowed in frustration. He was fine with his new mother, however; he had only met her a week before; she was exceptionally nice and beautiful. He could tell she genuinely loves Soobin's father, even constantly asking Soobin about his day, and she's also a fantastic cook.
Unlike her unruly son. Soobin has no idea how the little punk deserved such a sweet and caring mother. He can't stand being in the same room as the younger for the love of God.
Apparently, the blonde boy is bloody spoiled.
Y'know? Those kind of people who get on your nerves just by barely existing. Only if he's not so fucking pretty, hell he shouldn't be that beautiful— Soobin find it hard to hate him to the fullest; He's kinda fond of pretty things and anyone with perfectly working eyes practically could tell Kai is one, if not— the actual epitome of the word 'beautiful' itself.
Soobin heaved an exasperated sigh as he turned his head to the direction of Kai's bed, which was right next to Soobin's.
Kai looks like he's in a deep sleep, his one arm carelessly draping on his bed, few of his plushies surrounding him as if they were soldiers protecting its devious owner. The sight was kinda cute, but Soobin would never concede it; instead he replaced the thought with something more fitting; Kai looks really spoiled, and annoying.
and frustratingly pretty.
His blonde hair was beautifully laying on his pillow revealing his forehead, lips were slightly apart, his light breathing was somehow calming, his mouth that has a slight bump because of his braces made his lips look full, and his usually frowned brows were relaxed. Soobin had the chance to freely take a look at Kai's moles, which appeared to be constellations painted on his face by God himself.
