Currently writing this while wearing a full eye of makeup and it's a sad one!

Also this one is based off of the song Heaven by Warrant. If you haven't heard it already, please go listen to it! It's an amazing song!

Waves washed over the sand, the cold water brushing against my skin. Soft winds blew through my hair as I looked out into the sea.

"You know, heaven isn't too far away." I heard his voice say from behind me.

I didn't move, thinking it was just my mind playing tricks on me. That was, until I felt two strong arms wrap around me from behind and a firm chest press against my back. "We're closer to it every day."

Tears pricked my eyes as turned around, nearly knocking him over as I hugged him like my life depended on it. "Jani..." I managed to breathe out.

"I'm here, baby," he whispered in my ear. "I'm right here."
Tears slipped down my cheeks as he held me in his embrace, but they weren't tears of sadness.

Jani pulled away slightly, putting his hands on my shoulders and looking down at me as if to take me in. He sighed happily, "look at you. Still as perfect as the day I left ya."

I reached up and gently brushed his soft blonde hair away from his eyes. "I see you're still rocking the blonde mess?"

He smiled before wrapping his arms back around me, swiftly picking me up and dunking me under the cold ocean water.
I managed to wiggle out of his arms and got up, tackling him.
"Alright! Alright! I surrender!" Jani exclaimed.

We got up and he splashed the cold water at me, soaking my clothes. I retaliated with an even bigger splash, both of us giggling like little kids.

As we made our way back to shore, Jani gently grabbed my shoulder and turned me to face him.
I was confused at first but that all disappeared when I felt his soft lips crash onto mine. I immediately kissed him back, a feeling I'd almost forgotten.

We pulled away and I rested my forehead against his, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Heaven isn't too far away." Jani whispered.

I smiled, "I missed you, my Jani Lane."

"I missed you too, my Y/N." He said softly.

I knew we'd find each other again, just like we promised the day he left.
