When Giovanni and Kaleb reached the table, Kaleb was the first to speak. "Hey. We can finally have that double date now."
Sasha replied only half-looking at him, "Hey, Kaleb."
Andy nodded his head at Kaleb to greet him and removed the sound-blocking bubble.
"What's wrong with him?" asked Kaleb pointing at Rodolf.
Giovanni took a seat beside Rodolf and when he was close enough to be heard without yelling, he asked, "Are you okay?"
Rodolf didn't respond.
Giovanni added, "I heard about your parents. My condolences."
"Why?" replied Rodolf raising his head to be heard. He regretted it the second that he saw Giovanni so close to him.
"I assume it sucks despite everything."
"It's weird but it's not bad."
"Not bad?" said Kaleb. "How can you... wait, are you Rodolf? Your parents are dead so now you get their money. Why would you care? It's your money now."
Rodolf replied sarcastically, "Thank you for telling me my own life story." He didn't say it loud enough so only Andy and Giovanni heard.
Sasha quickly finished his drink. "Kaleb, our drinks are done. Would you mind getting us another round? On me."
Kaleb answered, "Ya, I could use another drink."
Sasha told him, "One margarita and a beer." He transferred Kaleb some money using his satellite device.
Kaleb turned around and began to leave, then stopped walking. "Giovanni."
"What?" asked Giovanni.
"We're getting them drinks."
"Right." Giovanni got off his stool. As he and Kaleb walked to the bar, Giovanni added telepathically in Rodolf's head, - I'm sorry.

Andy made another sound-blocking bubble as Rodolf thought aloud, "I'm not used to another voice in my head anymore. I don't know why he didn't just do that the whole time."
Sasha answered, "Kaleb doesn't know what Giovanni can do."
"'Cause he wants to read him without his precious boyfriend knowing?" asked Rodolf.
Andy said, "Don't think of Kaleb or anything Giovanni might be doing with him. He's not a nice person. I've already seen him a few times and I don't like him."
"A few times? How long have they been dating?" asked Rodolf not wanting an answer.
Sasha replied, "They met a few weeks ago. I don't like him for Giovanni. But Giovanni won't listen to me. Would it make me a bad person if I asked you to get back together with Giovanni so he'd leave Kaleb?"
Liz and Peter popped up beside the table and Andy included them within the sound barrier before either one of them could speak.
"Are you going to dance?" Liz asked Andy and Sasha loudly. "Whoa! Why was that so loud?"
Sasha replied, "Andy can block out sound. And ya, we will."
Peter responded, "That's so cool." Changing his tone, he continued to speak. "We decided to take a break and join you when we saw Kaleb over here in case you needed someone else." From the way that he pronounced "Kaleb", he didn't seem to like him either.
"Does anyone like him?" asked Rodolf.
No one answered.
Feeling that someone should say something, Andy responded, "I'm thinking Giovanni does."
"Is this specific to him or is it 'cause he's with your brother and you thought bad things about me too?" added Rodolf.
Sasha answered, "It's him. I didn't have a problem with you. I definitely thought your relationship had problems but I didn't want to rip you away from Giovanni like I do Kaleb."
Peter added, "Kaleb isn't good for Giovanni at all. Giovanni needs MUCH better."
As Peter finished his sentence, Giovanni and Kaleb returned to the table and once again, Andy removed the sound barrier, which had prevented Kaleb from hearing them. Giovanni gave Andy and Sasha their drinks before sitting down next to Kaleb, who was beside Sasha. Rodolf put his head back down on the table and put his arms over his head as Liz and Peter placed themselves on the remaining stool. Sasha forced some small talk because it made Giovanni uncomfortable when Sasha made his dislike for Kaleb obvious. Peter participated in the conversation minimally. He didn't want Giovanni to feel uncomfortable but he didn't want him to think that he was temporarily accepting the two of them together either. Liz compensated for Peter's inability to put his feelings for Kaleb aside. Like the other times that he had met Giovanni's siblings, Kaleb didn't notice any odd behaviour. After several minutes, Kaleb finished his drink and urged Giovanni to return to the dance floor. Giovanni told Kaleb that he wanted to finish his glass of water first but Kaleb insisted on dancing so Giovanni left his half-filled cup to follow Kaleb onto the blue-lit dance floor.
