Igneel: Come on Natsu put more effort into it.
Natsu: I'm trying I can't.
Igneel: Do it one more time my boy.
Natsu inhales the surrounding air around him and releases a dragon roar. It's isn't what he thought a dragon roar would look like. A small bubble size roar came out of his mouth and died down within seconds.
Natsu: How was that?!
He says excited. This roar is bigger then the one he just did so of course young Natsu would be proud. But his father isn't.
Igneel: What was that? A hiccup?
Natsu: That was my roar.
Igneel begins to laugh at his sons roar.
Natsu: Oi! What The hell is so funny old man?
Igneel: Here, let me show you what a real dragon roar looks like.
The mighty dragon inhales all of the air around them. His belly becomes big and round and his cheeks puff up.
Igneel: Fire Dragons Roar!!
An intense fire roar came out of the dragons mouth aiming directly towards a near by mountain. When it made impact with the mountain it destroyed it sending powerful gust of winds. This forced Natsu to cover his face and hold on for dear life due to the power of his fathers roar. When the chaos calmed down, young Natsu saw how his fathers roar changed the terrain and destroyed the mountain.
Natsu: Woah...
Igneel: See that, that's a roar.
Natsu: I'm not old enough to roar like that dad. You can't expect me to do that.
Igneel: Son, you can do anything. You just have to put your back into it.
He says ruffing Natsu's hair.
Natsu: Hey quit it.
Igneel kneels down to meet eye to eye with Natsu.
Igneel: We as dragons are strong. But strength isn't our only trait. Because we are dragons we tend to age differently then any other race. We age slower. Meaning we have more time to better our own strengths and completely eliminate our weaknesses. That's not our only trait though son. We also retain all the knowledge we learned over the years. You put strength and knowledge together, that makes a deadly combo. Don't you think?
Natsu: Yeah..
Igneel: In fights use your head. Study your opponents movement and counter them. Most people now a days think strength is the only way to claim victory. It's not, using your brain and finding ways to defeat your enemy not just only using your strength can also claim you victory.
Natsu: Is that why you never loose a fight against villains dad?
Igneel laughs.
Igneel: Damn right. Now how about we give it another go. Show me your roar son!
Natsu: Right! Fire Dragons....
In a split second everything around Natsu has changed. The city is in chaos, there are buildings destroyed, people screaming for help, bodies of dead people everywhere, the smell of blood, other heroes and law enforcement running all around helping people who are injured or trapped under debris.
Natsu: Roar...
An explosion sent shockwaves all around the area. The ground shook, and more screams could be heard. Natsu quickly picked up on his fathers scent.
Natsu: Dad..
Natsu began to run towards the fight.
Police officer: Oi! Kid where are you going?! Get back here!
