After the class ran there three laps, Midnight has finally woken up from her little nap Mirko gave her. They all lined up drinking water waiting for what is next.

Midnight: How was everyone's run?

Sosuke: I could go for five more laps.

Rei: Easy Sosuke kun I haven't been outside since the summer.

Jinko: I thought you worked out?

Rei: I did but afterwards I played video games with Mahiru kun and Shinichirou kun.

Jinko looks back and sees both guys throw up the peace sign.

Reina: A run like that really gets the blood flowing doesn't it?

Hatori: I can see why you guys like running.

Yui: You flew around for three laps.

Hatori: So..

Kazane: I'm so tired.

She says out of breath.

Reina: I don't get you. You eat so much but don't gain weight.

Mirko: she doesn't?!

Reina: yeah!

Midnight: Everyone. We are in middle of class, you can chat later.

Everyone: Sorry..

Midnight: Okay so up next we will do combat training.

Reina: is it going to be like last year?

Midnight: No

Sosuke: So who are we fighting?

Midnight: No one.

Yui: Then why call it combat training?

Midnight: would you let me explain.

Everyone: gomen...

Midnight: Knuckleheads I swear. Anyways unlike last years combat training where we separated into teams and had to stop the makeshift bomb and capture the "villain" this year will be different. Since our class is smaller then last year. This year combat training will be simpler.

Rei: How simple?

Midnight: Excellent question. This time around we will separate into three teams. One villain against three heroes. The heroes objective is to capture the villain. The villains objective is to avoid capture. There will be a time limit of one hour. If the villain is captured the heroes win. If the heroes fail then the villains win. One handicap for the heroes. If time runs out the villains win.

Everyone: huh?!

Reina: That's totally not fair.

Hatori: The villains can win in two ways.

Jinko: This is going to be annoying.

Midnight: Out there the villains will always have the upper hand. It doesn't matter if you have a group of ten heroes with you. The villain will always have 11. Doesn't matter how many spots you got covered to capture the villain, they will always have an escape route. Out there it does not matter if you have the villain in cuffs and behind bars. The villain will escape. Outside the schools boundaries you as heroes have to be prepared to always be handicapped, to always be looking up while you're down. The life of a hero is a difficult one. Nothing is given to you.

The entire class listen as Midnight said this. They better then anyone know the struggles to becoming a hero let alone having to deal with certain situations where they are outmatch and out leagued.
