Before I left I ran to the car and grabbed my suit case. My dad hollered "I said I would get it why are you ?" I hollered back "I'm in pajamas!"
He replies with a sweet laugh and shake of his head.
From my suitcase I grabbed a pair of jeans, a tank top, and a jacket. It was about 55°F so I needed something light to keep me warm but not to hot. I ran into our new bathroom, it was nice, it has floral wallpaper, the bath, sink, and toilet were yellow. It looked old but well loved. I ran out leaving my pajamas on the floor and quickly tieing my shoes.

I put my headphones back on, opened spotify and started walking. The town was peaceful. I was retracing the route the car took to where I saw the diner with the two girls. When I walked in I saw only one of the girls sitting at a booth, she looked mad? Maybe confused... I went and sat in a chair by the bar like counter and saw the other girl with a boy. She seemed nice but the boy didn't seem quite as so. As tall blonde waiter walked up to me the girl and boy sat back down in the booth. "What can i get ya?...hello kid? What do ya want?" The waiter snapped me out of my daze "oh um sorry can I just have an chocolate malt please?"
"sounds good kid anything else?"
" No that's all, thanks" I handed her my 20 and she brought back my malt and $16.50 in change.
When she turned away I saw the two girls and guy from before but his nose was bleeding and who I had figured she is his girlfriend was frantically picking up napkins. He stormed out madly, the girl kindly followed behind leaving the same girl who looked mad all alone. Maybe she punched him...I mean I guess he really was a prick. I decided to walk over and take the seat infront of her. Her face was frozen and she looked scared.
"Hey are you okay?" I asked whist sipping my malt, she responded quickly while sinking in her seat "y-yeah I'm okay." "
Well im Y/N and you are?"
"Sydney. But uh my friends well uh friend calls me syd."
She's sweet "Cool."
"Why have I never seen you around Y/N?"
"OH I just moved here like 30 minutes ago."
"Well it was nice to meet you, I have to uh um get going so see you around " With that she was gone.
