POV: Your eyes fluttered open and were met with the harsh morning sunlight. Groaning, you turned away from the window, silently cursing yourself for not closing the curtains the night before.

Your gaze then settled on the sleeping man next to you. A smile crept onto your lips as your eyes traveled his handsome face. You curled up next him, resting your head on his chest.

He then reflexively slipped his arm around you, and held you close. You glanced up at him, before closing your eyes, once more, and recalled how you met.

He came over to you, while you were seated at the bar, and introduced himself. You instantly thought he was cute, but tried to conceal your immediate interest.

"I don't usually do this sorta thing, but I haven't seen you in here before, and wanted to come over and say hello," he greeted, sliding onto the stool, next to you.

"How sweet," you smiled.

"Oh, you're American?" he asked, surprised.

"I am, yeah," you laughed.

"Sorry, I didn't mean for that to be weird, we just don't get a lot of Americans around here," he explained, flustered.

"Oh, well, I'm here visiting my cousin. She lives in the next town over, and I just got in today, and wanted to go to an actual pub, so here I am."

"Well, you picked a good'un," he commended, before taking a swig of his drink.

"It seems I did," you smiled.

You then spent the next hour sat at the bar, chatting with your new friend, Tom, before he suggested you both move to a corner booth, as the pub was starting to become busier. He squeezed into the cramped seat next to you, and nonchalantly draped his arm around you.

"You don't waste any time, do you?" you asked, with a laugh.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable..." he apologized, a panicked look on his face.

"Its ok, I'm kidding. If I didn't want you to touch me, I'd let you know."

"And what if you wanted me to, how would you let me know then?" he asked, leaning in close.

His gaze fixed on your lips, as you struggled to reply.

"By kissing you, probably," you shakily replied.

He leaned in even closer, practically brushing his lips against yours. He just teased you with the thought of him kissing you, before you grabbed his face, and pressed your lips to his. He smiled into your kiss, before you pulled away and covered your face, with your hands.

"I can't believe I just did that," you said, mortified.

"Its ok, it's not like it wasn't wanted or owt," Tom assured.

"Its just, I don't even know you and-"

"We can fix that. How about we get out of here?" he asked, with a hopeful gleam in his eyes.

"You sure are direct."

"We don't have to, I just thought we both liked each other and that's usually what happens next..."

You sighed, knowing how irresponsible it would be to go off with a man you didn't know, while you're in another country, but so far he didn't give off any red flags. You also prided yourself on being a good judge of people's character and he seemed genuinely nice and respectful. You had also spent most of the evening with him, and you didn't want to admit to yourself how much you didn't want the night to end.

An idea then popped into your mind, as a alternative for going off with a strange man, to parts unknown.

"Or is it different in the states?" he continued.
