When she said no the words stabbed into my heart like a hot poker and it left a large gaping wound where my heart used to be. I still don't understand why she said no, with the impending doom approaching I thought getting married would bring some happiness to our lives, apparently not. I ran through the woods not caring if i tore my new expensive suit because now nothing mattered to me. I ran past my house and straight to Shannon's and knocked on her door, she is the only one that can help me now. When she opened the door she saw my expression and knew what had happened, she was the only one that knew i was going to propose. She immediately pulled me in for a hug,
"Rhydian I am so sorry I thought that she would say yes"
I nodded and sniffed
"Yeah me too"
Sorry for the super short chapter but I have a lot going on in my life and I am having trouble updating regularly. But I should have another update this long weekend.
