Chapter 1: Voltz and Fyra

(The story will begin here, I hope you'll like it!)

Eirick Jenver Dewey is a guy at his 20's, average height and body, brown in complexion which is a typical color of a Filipino, he always wear glasses (uhm, maybe not always), and he is currently looking for work in Makati to earn additional income from being a caretaker at his aunt's apartment. He was asked to take care of the place because his aunt just left to work abroad. Eirick is from a certain province in Luzon by the way. He accepted his aunt's offer not just because he wants to help earning for his family but as well as because he is hoping that by transferring here in Makati will give him the answers to his questions. What questions, you might ask? Well, reading the origin of the story will give you ideas, but let us answer that on the latter part of the story.

It's 7 in the morning and you can see a great number of people outside the apartment who are heading for work or school. It's already a busy day for everyone, well, none of these people want to be late on their schedules. Eirick, on the other hand, decided to take a little tour on his own hoping to find an opportunity for him, or maybe, he can find answers to some questions. If not answers, clues are just equally good.

When he saw a Chinese Restaurant which has an announcement of a job hiring, he went in and inquire. Upon inquiry, he thinks that he's not suitable for the job, or is it better to say that he doesn't want it?

After that, he decided to leave the place and try his luck somewhere else.

After walking in just a few minutes, Eirick's attention was caught by someone (or something). He felt some kind of energy that is different from the usual crowd. Why? Because Eirick is a mutant. One of his abilities is to sense mutant energy from the public and know there mutant abilities, classification and category.

(Terms used on the following were research-based)

Mutant Category:

1. Psionics - Mutants that have psychic abilities such as telekinesis, telepathy, tele-empaths, telecybers and others.

2. Elementals - Mutants that can control or produce elements. Examples are the electricals, thermals, botanicals and others.

3. Ferals - These are mutants with animal DNAs. Most common of them are the Aves (bird DNA), Canines (dog DNA) and Amphibians (lizard class DNA).

4. Moleculars - Mutants with the ability to manipulate their body such as Regenerators (those that can regenerate their body parts), Propulsive (Can move with extraordinary speed), Teleporters (teleports from one place to another).

Mutant Classification:

1. Omega level - The most powerful among mutants. They have the most extent manipulation of matter and energy and those with high psionic abilities

2. Alpha level - Second on the rank of mutants. This class includes mutants from the psionics and elemental classes.

3. Beta level - This includes mutants from the feral and molecular classes with high combat skills and sub-abilities.

4. Delta level - This is a mutant level that covers mutants from the feral and molecular class without any combat abilities or sub-abilities.

5. Gamma level - This is the lowest among the ranks. This includes mutants with latent abilities or those that haven't discovered their powers yet.

Eirick looks around for him to locate where he sense that mutant energy. As he does, he manage to know that the mutant energy he felt is owned by a lady who just stepped out of her car.
