All At Once

Chapter two.

~two days later~

I'm finally getting out of the hospital. The doctor said I need to come back in a week to see if I can get my cast off. So for now, I have crunches. I get my things and my parents come to help me.

My parents finish filling out the rest of the paperwork and we leave.

"Finally! Some fresh air!" I say in excitement.

My mom laughs and my dad doesn't do anything. He's still pissed about softball. He hasn't really talked to me either.

The guys and I text every once in awhile. Tomorrow is Ashley's party. So I've been discussing that with them.

I've also just been talking with some of them and eating to know them. Cameron still says sorry every time I talk to him. I know he's sorry. I know that he feels bad so I'm not trying to make it worse for him.

Yeah I was mad. It ruined a little bit of my relationship with my dad and it ruined my season.

We pull up to the driveway. I get out of the car as fast as I can and rush hi to the house and upstairs. Of course not as fast as I wish I could. I finally get to my room and lay on my bed. Oh how I missed my bed. It's so comfortable.

I change into some sweats and a tank top. I plugs in my phone and wait for it to charge.

I soon get a text from Shawn.

Shawn: What time do you want us to come over?

Me: Uh..about three? To help me set up Pleaseeee it will be hard by myself.

Shawn: Of course! I'll tell the guys.

Me: thanks Shawn you're the best :)

Shawn: Anything for you!

Me: well I gotta go I need to take a shower.

Shawn: Okay text me whenever!

Shawn's great. He is the one I'm closest too right now. Then it's Hayes. Then Matt and then Cameron and Nash are the same.

I take I shower and then fall asleep. Even when it was 8 o'clock at night.

~next day~

I wake up at ten and start to get ready for the day. I don't get dressed in my party outfit but into some leggings and a sweatshirt. I straighten my hair and then pull it up into a high ponytail. I put on little make up and go eat breakfast.

I see that my parents aren't home. I find a note on the fridge. Well lucky me. They went on a two day business trip. Really?! I hat got out of the hospital.

I find two hundred dollars for food for the next two days. My parents know about the party so that why they left so much.

I grab some cereal and eat a bowl. I then brush my teeth. I sit down for about an hour or two watching tv. Soon I hear a knock on the door.

"Who is it???" I yell trying to see if I have to get up.

"Shawn and everyone!" Shawn yells.

"Come in!" I yell.

Everyone walks in but I see three new guys.

"Hey Emerald this is Taylor, Jack j and Jack g" he says pointing to each one.

"You have a really cool name" Taylor says.

"Thanks but please just call me Em." I say. I wouldn't say I didn't like my name but I just rather be called Em.

Everyone helps me set up for the party. They hang lights outside and set up a volleyball net and tables. I have a pretty big house and back yard. They also set up the good and drinks, along with the music. All I had to do was tell them where everything was and where it should go.

"Someone should carry me to my room so I can change" I say.

"I'll do it." Shawn says.

"Now don't drop me or you're dead." I warn him and the laugh. He laughs too.

He picks me up bridal style and takes me upstairs. He lays on my bed with me and stares into my eyes. He starts to lean in and I get up to go change. Well try to. I forgot about my foot and fall on my butt.

Shawn starts laughing and I soon do too.

"Get out so I can change" I laugh.

"Okay just don't fall again" he says and leaves.

I change into some pink high waist shorts and a white flows shirt that I tuck in. I throw on a necklace and a flowery cardigan. (Above). I put on punk and white sandals and crawl out of my room to find Shawn waiting.

"Need some help?" He says

"Yeah I do" I laugh.

He picks me up and takes me downstairs. He sets my on the couch where all the guys are. He plops down right next to me and we watch whatever is in the TV. It's only 5:30 and the party starts at 7. So about an hour and a half to chill.

I can't wait for Ashley to see her surprise!! She's going to be so excited! She'll love me forever!

"So Shawn, what song are you going to sing?" I ask.

"Uh a few actually. I'm gonna sing life of the party, the weight, and one of those nights." he says.

"Oh cool" I say even though I don't know any of them..

"Do you know them?" He asks

"Uh..no sorry..." I say awkwardly.

"It's okay haha, they're songs that I've written" he says.

"Oh cool! I probably heard parts of some because Ashely listens to your music." I say.

"Why don't you?" He asks.

"Uh i don't know. I haven't really tried to I guess." I say.

He just nods and turns back to the TV. I hope I didn't hurt he's feelings..like I do think he is a great singer I've just been really busy lately but I guess not anymore.
