All At Once

Chapter four.

I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face. Last night was perfect. Well almost. Cameron and I just talked the whole night about random things.

I got up and got ready for the day. Today Cameron and I are hanging out. He said he would pick me up at 1 and he didn't tell me anything else.

I picked out my outfit and put it on. (Above). I straighten my hair and put on little make up. Soon it was one and Cameron texted me he was outside.

I grabbed my purse and phone, then walked outside. He was there waiting by his car. He opens the passenger door for me and I slid in. He got on the other side and start to drive.

"So where are we going?" I ask.

"It's a surprise" he says.

"How far away is it?" I ask.

"About a half an hour." He says. He turns on the radio and riptide by Vance joy came on. I started to sing along and then stopped when I figured out I probably sounded like a dying cat.

"Why'd you stop?" he asked.

"Cause I sound like a dying cat" I say.

"What?? You're really good! almost as good as Shawn" he says and I blush.

"I guess" I say with a little laugh.

He pulls into a parking lot and I see were we are. Omg. No. He didn't.

"You didn't." I say with belief and he just smiles. Once he parked I got out of the car as quick as I could.

"I love the zoo!!!" I say excitedly.

"I know" he says smiling.

"You're the best" I say and kiss him on the cheek.

He blushes and we walk inside.

"Let's see the white tigers first!!" I say. They're my favorite animal!

He nods and we walk over to them. I stand there in awe and I could feel Cameron staring at me.

We walk around to see the other animals and it was perfect. We go to some games and it was a claw game. There was a big white tiger.

"Cameron! Win it for me!" I say loudly with a big smile.

He goes over to it and puts in a dollar. The claw went down to pick it up and he got it!! I had a huge smile on my face.

Before he handed it to me he said, "first I have to ask you something." He says.

I nod my head. "Emerald will you make me the happiest guy in the world and be my girlfriend?" He says. I was shocked but happy.

"Yes" I say with a smile and he hands me the tiger, then he kisses me. The kiss was perfect. It was like the whole world stopped and it was just us.

He takes me home and walks me to my front door. He kisses me goodbye and I go inside.

"Why are you so happy?" My mom asks me.

"Cameron asked me out" I say smiling.

"What." My dad says and not too happy either.

"Cameron and I are dating." I say one more time.

"No. You're not. He's the one who ruined your season! Everything when have been working for has been wiped away! You're not allowed to date him!" He yells at me.

"But dad! You don't even understand! And I'm 16 you can't tell me who to date!" I scream.

"Yes I can! Break up with him or I will!" He says.

I run up to my room. I sit on my bed and text Cameron.

Me: Hey look, I'm sorry but we can't date. It's just too much right now..

Cameron: what..but I thought you liked me? And what happened?

Me: I'm sorry..i have to go.

He doesn't respond and I can feel tears coming down my cheeks. Everything was so good. Now. It's all gone.

I woke tired as ever. Today I get to see how my foot is doing. Of course my dad is coming too which just makes it worse. I miss Cameron..it's been about a week since we talked of saw each other. I haven't seen any of the guys. Ashley came over one time but that was it. I kind of isolated myself from everyone.

I get dressed in some sweats and a t-shirt. That's mostly what I've been wearing lately. I'm hoping for good news about my foot so I can start softball again

I finish getting ready for and meet my dad down stairs. I'm really nervous about what the doctor is going to say.

We pull up to the doctors office and my hands are shaking. I can she s nervous look on my dads face too. We go inside and wait for our turn. It felt like it took forever when he called by name. I stood up and went over. He took off my cast and took a few x Rays.

We waited for about an hour till he came back. I couldn't tell if he had good or bad news.

"Emerald, so I have your results." he said.

Before he says anything else someone comes rushing in. He whispers into the doctors ears and I can see the pain in his face.

"Im sorry but I have to go." He says. With that he left.

What about the results...I see the clip board on the table and carefully walk over to it. It said..
