Feng Xin sighed and shook his head, deciding it was best not to pursue the matter further. He turned his attention back to Xie Lian and Hua Cheng.

"We came here to inform you that there have been some disturbances in the mortal realm. We thought you might want to know," Feng Xin explained.

Xie Lian nodded, grateful for the information. "Thank you for letting us know. We'll look into it and see if we can help."

Mu Qing crossed his arms and huffed. "Don't get yourselves into trouble. We don't need any more messes to clean up."

Hua Cheng smirked, his eyes glinting mischievously. "Oh, don't worry. We can handle ourselves just fine."

Wei ying giggled, sensing the tension dissipating. He tugged at Xie Lian's sleeve, whispering loudly, "Baba, can we have pancakes for breakfast?"

Xie Lian chuckled and ruffled Wei ying's hair. "Of course, A-ying. Pancakes it is."

Hua Cheng turned to Feng Xin and Mu Qing with a sly smile. "Well, it seems we have a busy day ahead of us. We'll take care of things here."

Feng Xin raised an eyebrow but nodded. "Just make sure you don't cause any unnecessary trouble. We'll be watching."

With that, Feng Xin and Mu Qing bid their farewells and left, their argument seemingly forgotten. Xie Lian, Hua Cheng, and Wei ying watched them go, their expressions filled with amusement.

Once the two heaven officials were out of sight, Hua Cheng pulled Xie Lian into a warm embrace. "So, pancakes for breakfast, huh? What a great idea, A-ying."

Wei ying beamed, feeling proud of his suggestion. "I know, right? Pancakes are the best!"

Xie Lian laughed and kissed both Hua Cheng and Wei ying on the cheek. "Let's go inside and make some pancakes then. It's going to be a wonderful day."

Hand in hand, the three of them walked back into their home, their hearts filled with love and happiness. No matter what challenges they faced, they knew they could overcome them together as a family. And so, they embarked on another day of laughter, love, and pancakes, cherishing the beautiful life they had built with each other.

The moon cast a soft glow over the land as Xie Lian, Hua Cheng, and Wei ying prepared for their night hunting expedition. Dressed in their respective attire, they stood before the gates of Puqi Shrine, ready to embark on another thrilling adventure together. Xie Lian donned his white robe, adorned with intricate golden embroidery, while Hua Cheng wore his majestic black robe, accentuating his regal presence. Wei ying, with his youthful energy, wore a miniature version of Hua Cheng's attire, lovingly tailored to fit him.

As they stepped out into the night, the air was filled with anticipation and excitement. Xie Lian carried his divine weapon, a golden staff that emitted a gentle radiance. Hua Cheng had his famous fan of bones strapped to his waist, shimmering ominously. Wei ying, not to be left out, wielded a wooden sword, imitating his parents' graceful movements.

Xie Lian looked at his family with pride and spoke, his voice carrying a hint of excitement. "Tonight, we shall explore the nearby forest, where rumors of restless spirits have been circulating. Our task is to bring peace and tranquility to those who need it."

Hua Cheng grinned, his crimson eyes flickering with eagerness. "And to show them the might of the Ghost King and his family."

Wei ying jumped up and down, exclaiming, "Yes, yes! We will protect everyone!"

With their determination set, the family ventured into the forest, their steps light and cautious. The moonlight filtered through the dense canopy, casting ethereal patterns on the forest floor. Sounds of chirping insects and rustling leaves accompanied their journey.

As they walked deeper into the woods, Xie Lian began to sense a faint spiritual disturbance. He raised his hand, signaling his family to halt. "Listen carefully, there's something ahead."

Hua Cheng narrowed his eyes, his senses attuned to the otherworldly. "Restless spirits. They're causing mischief, disrupting the harmony."

Wei ying clutched his wooden sword tightly, eyes wide with determination. "Let's help them find peace, a-dié!"

Together, they moved silently, following the disturbance until they reached a small clearing. There, they found a group of spirits, their ethereal forms flickering with unrest. Xie Lian approached them with gentle grace, his voice soothing yet authoritative.

"Spirits, we have come to offer our assistance. Tell us of your grievances, and we shall guide you to tranquility."

The spirits, initially startled, soon calmed in the presence of the divine trio. One by one, they voiced their troubles—unfinished business, unfulfilled desires, and lost connections to the mortal realm. Xie Lian listened attentively, offering words of solace and guidance.

Hua Cheng's aura radiated with power, enveloping the spirits in an ethereal glow. "Fear not, for we shall bring you the closure you seek. Let us be your guides."

Wei ying, his youthful spirit untouched by fear, took a step forward. "We'll protect you and make sure you find peace. We promise."

As the family worked together, they performed rituals, chanted prayers, and offered comforting words. The spirits gradually found solace, their forms glowing brighter before peacefully dissipating, their grievances finally resolved.

In the tranquility that followed, Xie Lian turned to his family, a soft smile on his lips. "Another successful night, my loves. We have brought peace to those who needed it."

Hua Cheng wrapped his arms around Xie Lian, his expression filled with adoration. "We make a formidable team."
