- PICO'S POV -

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, feeling as tired as ever. The restless night had done little to rejuvenate my weary body, leaving me longing for a jolt of caffeine to jumpstart my day. As I dragged myself out of bed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity settle over me, knowing that the search for a coffee shop would become a part of my daily routine in this new neighborhood.

With bleary eyes and disheveled hair, I stepped out onto the streets, letting the morning sunlight wash over my fatigued frame. The city bustled with life, the sounds of cars honking and people rushing by becoming a symphony of urban existence. I ventured forward, my steps sluggish yet determined, my mind already imagining the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee that awaited me.

As I turned a corner, my eyes fell upon a cozy little café, its windows inviting and warm. It seemed like the perfect place to seek solace from the weariness that clung to me like a second skin. Without hesitation, I pushed open the door and entered, hoping to find the much-needed caffeine fix that would fuel me through the day.

But as I stepped inside, my heart skipped a beat, and the weariness of the morning suddenly seemed insignificant. There, behind the counter, stood the blue-haired stranger from the window, the one who had captured my attention with a single gaze. Keith, as his nametag read, was now working as a bartender in this quaint café.

Time seemed to stretch and warp as our eyes remained locked, the air growing thicker with unspoken words. I couldn't help but wonder what was going through Boyfriend's mind in this moment. Did he recognize me from yesterday? Did he feel the same magnetic pull that tugged at my own heartstrings?

As his cheeks flushed with a delicate pink hue, I couldn't help but find his flustered state endearing. It was a stark contrast to the confident presence he had exuded the day before. It reminded me that even those who appeared larger than life had their vulnerable moments, their own doubts and uncertainties. It made him feel more relatable, more human.

And yet, despite the surprise and awkwardness that hung in the air, my gaze remained fixed on him. The realization that he was shorter than me brought a gentle smile to my lips, a subtle shift in the power dynamic between us. It was a reminder that appearances could be deceiving, that physical stature did not dictate the depth of a person's character. His vibrant blue hair still drew me in, a symbol of his uniqueness and individuality.

With hesitant steps, I went to the counter, closing the physical gap between us. My mind raced with questions, curiosity burning brightly within me. I wondered what stories lay behind those captivating eyes, what secrets his vibrant blue hair held.

A myriad of thoughts raced through my mind as I tried to gather my thoughts. I pondered how fate had led us to cross paths again, in this small café in a big city. What were the odds? Was it mere chance, or something more profound at work? The universe seemed to be playing a clever game, pushing us together once more.
