The jealousy of the Pandavas had reached the max level. They were ready to fight for their rights and their greed. They gained alliances with the kingdoms who were scared of Karna and Hitanshi and were ready to fight the war.
Shri Krishna seeing this went to side with the Pandavas as it was his promise to Indradev to protect Arjun. All though he wished that he had time to change their minds but their arrogance was much more.
When Shri Krishna saw putana the women who caused pain to his Maiya he became angry and chose to be the sarthi of Arjun instead of fighting.
The alliances of pandavas included Bhishma , Drona , Vidur , Yuyutsu , Yudhisthir , Bheem , Arjun , Nakul , Sahdev , Shishupal , Jaydrath , Trigant Naresh , Purujit of kuntibhoj , Shrikhandini , Drupad , Dhrishtadyum , Putana , the alliances of the married women of the Pandavas married , Shalya and the Bhagadatta royals along with their army's of 70 akshauhini Sena.
The alliances of the Kauravas included Karna , Hitanshi , 101 Kauravas including dushala , Gandhar raj Shakuni , Eklavya , Shon Ashwatthama and Rukmi without any armies. They were all alone with no army's so they don't die. In short they had only 6 maharathis Ashwatthama , Rukmi , Duryodhan , Dushansan , Shakuni , Dushala , and 4 ati-maharathis Karna , Hitanshi , Shon and Eklavya.
