You put up the decorations, tied his balloons to his chair and wrapped his gifts, you wrote in the card, and made a comfy place in the guest room for the kitten, so Kyojuro wouldn't find him, then you heard the doorbell ring "who's there, hello?" there was silence "Open the dammed door its cold as hell out here!!" Tengen shouted , you unlocked the door and saw him standing there with his 3 wives "hey!, what are you guys doing here?" you said as you hugged him and his wives, you all where very good friends, you took Tengen and his wives on vacations, double dates, and just some fun times. "what do you mean what are we doing here? tomorrows Kyojuros birthday isn't it?" you laughed telling them they could stay in the guest bedroom but you would have to get Kyojuro's present out of there first. "why did you only put one in there?" you rubbed your neck "hehe, well, lemme show you" you got the kitten from the guest bedroom and showed them, while his wives fawned over the cat "he's gonna freak" Tengen said with a proud looking smile, Kyojuro was his best friend, and he was happy because he knew kyojuro always wanted a pet, but he couldn't have one as a kid because his father hated animals "yeah i know, lets just hope its in a good way" Tengen ruffled your hair "i'm sure he's going to love it, you know he's always wanted a pet" you smiled at the reassurance, while his wives where entertained by playing with the cat. "Do the other Hashiras know about the party?" Tengen chuckled i heard you setting up from a mile away so i dashed door to door real quick to tell em'" you smiled knowing thats one less thing you had to do "Thanks, i still have to get up early tomorrow to pick up his cake, do you think you could get him out of the back door so he won't see this" Tengen scoffed "lemme see do i think i could get him out of the back door...really?" you tilted your head in confusion and Tengen laughed "yeah i got this shortie" you rolled your eyes and thanked him again "i'm going to finish setting up, make yourself at home oh, and don't touch anything in the fridge." Tengen scoffed again "Geeze okay Ms.Control freak" you punched his arm playfully "It's party food in there" Tengen put his hands up and went to go play with the cat along with his wives. you finished setting up and checked the clock "Good lord it's already 2 in the morning!" you looked over and Tengen, his wives, and the cat where all sleeping on the ground. you didn't mind, you just laughed at the sight, "there like little kids" you said looking at them and thinking how uncomfortable that must be, "ughhhhh" you where tired, but you loved them to much to leave them there so you picked up his wives one by one and put them in the guest bed, you sighed and heaved up Tengen with a grunt and placed him in bed with his wives and covered them up with a blanket, you went back into the living room and gently picked up the kitten and put him in his crate with a small blanket and put him in the guest bedroom, knowing they wouldn't mind. you trashed all the decoration wrapped and looked at your work, "beautiful" you pat yourself on the back and decided just not to sleep, you checked the time and it was already 4, you rubbed your eyes, you just spent 2 hours moving the adults and the cat. "oh my god" you sighed and started your way to Tokyo to pick up the cake, when you got there, you where just on time, you wanted to be there by 6 and it was 6:05, you shrugged "close enough" you entered the bakery said hello and paid the extra fee for such a sudden due date even though they said it was okay, "it's perfect, Thank you so much" you ordered a 3 tier cake because of how many people where coming.

you Carefully brought it home and you saw Tengen sneak Kyojuro out the back door you lipped "thank you" and he winked you took the cake inside and finished setting up you put the presents next to the cake and people started arriving First came Mitsuri and Obanai, then Tomioka, Gyomei, Muichiro and Genya, Sanemi, Shinobu and the girls from the butterfly mansion including Kanao, then Tanjiro,Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke. you thanked everyone for coming and turned off the lights and told your messenger crow to get Tengen. He opened the door and everyone jumped out "Surprise!!!!" everyone said in Union. Kyojuro's eyes lit up and he smiled seeing you grinning at him "Thank you everyone!" he said with a huge smile and hugged you "so this is what you where up to last night, Thank you little flame" you smile and said "You deserve it! Happy 20th Kyo!" and kissed him until Tengen butted in and said "okay you two can do that later" you both blushed and apologized like little kids. everyone ate and had cake, then it was present time, mitsuri & obanai got him a flower vase filled with flowers, Tomioka got him pajamas, Muichiro forgot so Genya got him a Box of candy, Shinobu got him a Basic MedKit so he would stop coming to her for small cuts to which he laughs and rubbed his neck, Kanao didn't know what to get him, Tanjiro gave him Bento box and Nezuko gave him a big hug, Zenitsu gave him a basket of peaches from his grandpa's trees, and Inosuke gave him Dirt cake (lmao i couldn't help but think of Inosuke giving someone a literal mud cake for their birthday 💀) then you gave him the locket you bought and a bunch of cat stuff, "Whats all of this for my love? we don't have a ca- you didn't" Kyojuro say the last part with the biggest smile on the entire planet, you brought out the tiny kitten from the guest room and you swear you could see sparkles in his eyes as he looked at the cat like nothing he had ever seen before as it licked his nose, he hugged it softly and you saw tears in his eyes as he was just staring at the ground. "Kyojuro, you good?" Tengen asked "What the hell is wrong with him?!" sanemi yelled "Whats going on?" Muichiro said staring at the ceiling as Genya had an arm around his shoulder "Is Rengoku alright?" Gyomei asked looking around the room as if he was looking for Kyojuro "Rengoku-san?" Mitsuri said, shinobu checked his forehead "no fever?" she said confused "Hey, Kyo are you alright? " you said cupping his face and you saw the tears running down his face as he hugged you tightly and the kitten went to go lay on the couch "T-Thank you so much, Little Flame" your eyes widened as you had never seen him cry aside from when his mom had passed. you patted his back and wiped his tears, "your very welcome Kyo" Tengen came over and gave him a big hug as everyone even Tomioka joined in, they were basically one big family. They finished The night off with drinks, music, dancing, and Good vibes. When everyone left including Tengen and his Wives. Kyojuro hugged you and cried into your shoulder on the couch. "I-i never thought i would meet such a loving caring person beautiful person, i never belived in soulmates, then my father rescued you, and something in me changed for the better." you wiped his tears as he pulled you in for a long passionate kiss and then your new cat jumped in his lap. "have you thought of a name for him yet?" Kyojuro put a finger under his chin "hmm, how about...Casper?" you smiled "i love it" you both sat on the couch and cuddled for a while before you started cleaning up, taking out the trash, taking down decorations, and you both went to bed. "Thank you little flame" you smiled "Your so welcome and so deserving of it Kyojuro" Kyojuro smiled "Goodnight my love" he said hearing your small snores realizing you where asleep, he snuggled up to you, pulled up the blanket, and went to sleep along side the Love of his life.
