It was intimidating, being up in the air like this. She was suspended in a split, a firm constriction of silk against her hips.
If she did this right, the silks would catch around her arms before she hit the ground.
She took a deep breath.
The moment of truth.
Carefully, she spread her arms out like wings, eyes lifting to the ceiling lights. If she reached far enough, she could touch them from here.
On her exhale, she clasped her legs together and tucked forward, the taut silks propelling her body forward like a rubberband.
Her arms felt nothing.
