Prologue

You were in despair when they told you the news. Kyujuro Rengoku, your husband, the person you loved the most, your world, had died in a battle against the demon, Akaza. The words seems to have knocked all the air out of your lungs, leaving you there, unable to breath. You imagined his lifeless body on the ground as the blood leaked out of his wound. You were horrified at the thought. You were heart broken, sad, depressed, and emotional. You could hardly think properly. His death left you devastated. You were left sitting in your room and staring at the wall for hours. His death had shaken you.

  It was only then a few weeks ago that you decided to move on, to continue living on with your life. You miss Rengoku every day. The plans you both made together, gone in an instant. Disappearing into thin air as if they never existed. You made yourself move on because you knew that was what Kyujuro would've wanted you to do. He didn't want you to be sad over his death. If he were here, he wouldn't told you that he had died a heroic death.
