Changbin was shaking, his entire body trembling as he walked through the streets.

It was freezing cold, he had no food, no money, no shelter, no running water and nowhere to go or be.

His existence seemed meaningless, he had lost all hopes of getting back on his feet by himself.

It's been two months ever since the night he had spent at Minho's house.

And while he regretted having overshared so much that night, the next day he was confronted by something even worse.

After everything he had told Minho, the older still came up with a certain idea. With some type of agreement.

"You can stay here for longer but–"

Changbin didn't even want to think about or remember what the older had said next. It really hurt him, he felt so betrayed to receive such an offer after he had shared a little part of his story literally the night before.

And while initially he had "wanted" to "pay" Minho back with his body, he wasn't planning on actively working for him in that way in exchange for being allowed to live there.

That day, he had simply declined and left like promised. Minho, still being generous, gifted him a hoodie and gave him a bit of money on the way.

And while he gave his everything to spend that money wisely, at some point, there wasn't any left of it anymore, and begging for money wasn't making him rich either. He was truly at rock bottom.

So much that unintentionally, he would find himself reconsidering Minho's offer. It's been so long ever since he had seen the older, he hasn't been near his area at all, since he decided to stroll further away from where he lived inorder to not get in his way, and not have to think about him.

Things just have been so hard and it didn't seem like there's a way out.

A few days later, Changbin found himself crying somewhere in some random park in the middle of the night.

He couldn't feel his hands at this point, his body felt so weak. He's been getting way more dizzy way faster, his head ached, his body was malnourished and thus freezing even more. He was getting so crazy skinny too.

Today he had finally managed to save up from the kindness of a few strangers to barely be able to buy himself something small to eat. But for some reason, his body didn't accept the food at all, his stomach started aching and he's been feeling nauseous ever since.

Maybe, just maybe, he was planning on accepting Minho's offer.

It was either that, or die miserably on the street and be forgotten forever.
