"Shh it's okay." Felix shushed, crouching next to Changbin who was sitting on the grass in the garden, sobbing, barely able to breathe.

The younger had initially brought him outside for some fresh air, but now the two were simply cold with Changbin being unable to sit up to move.

Felix couldn't exactly do much, those were his orders, but he somehow had to make sure the boy was going to be okay.

"F-Felix.. why.. why is he like that?!"

Felix sighed knowing exactly what the boy was talking about. He didn't really have an answer for that. It's just how Minho has been these past few months ever since he had gotten that promotion he's been working so hard for.

"I'm sorry." Was all he could say. There wasn't much he could do besides being there.

He really felt bad for Changbin. They never talked for too long, but they did have short conversations multiple times and he's gotten to know the older as someone super sweet and soft. He didn't deserve any of this.

"Wh-why are you sorry...??"

"I don't know." Felix smiled weakly "I just am."

He cautiously moved a hand to the boy's back, lightly rubbing shapes against it knowing damn well he wasn't allowed to touch Changbin one bit. But he really just had to give him some sort of comfort, anything.

"I wish you didn't have to be here. I'm just.. sorry."

Changbin just tried to calm himself and breathe, smiling weakly through the pain "Thank you.."

The next day the younger woke up dreading what was coming that day, being so nervous about being in a room alone with Minho again, let alone be touched by him and sleeping with him.

But surprisingly, or maybe not so surprisingly, Minho didn't call for him that day.

Changbin went to bed confused, and that for the next four days. Minho never called him over. Once again no one told him why or what was going on, and truly, he didn't even want to know this time. He really did need these few days to get back into a stable state of mind.

The days Minho didn't call for him helped him a lot in grounding himself again and reflecting on the situation. He was okay again now, or at least he tried to make himself believe that this was the case.

Three more days passed and Changbin had unknowingly spent yet another week without getting a glimpse of Minho.

He never knew where he went, who he went with, what exactly he was working as, where he worked, where he traveled to, who his friends were, or if he even had any. Because with the hours Minho worked each day, he probably had no time to have a social life.
