Small backstory: Mortis was created in a completely different realm from the Lamb, and often watches them on their journey purely for amusement.
Mortis's creator, or as they're called in our dimension, "parent", ???, gave Mortis a crown after creation, so that they may toy with the Lamb and the Bishops as they please. Mortis is still extremely powerful however, being a god above the others like their creator. The Lamb can find Mortis around any part of the different rooms in Darkwood, Anura, Anchordeep, and Silk Cradle. After being found, Mortis mainly stuck around the Lamb's cult, as they didn't need to go back to their own at the moment.
Fun fact: Mortis can have arms and legs that are attached to their body if they want to have them
