"I am so sorry, Daniel. I wish we could've done more for her." Detective Catherine Turner looked at Daniel who was visibly upset after finding out his friend, Allison kerry died in a jigsaw trap.

"Yeah, me too." He muttered before Catherine walked closer to the crime scene. There was the female Detective, hanging from something that seemed like a platform. Her ribs were pulled and her stomach was open. Her eyeballs were blacked out and there were rats chewing thrlugh her skin. It truly was a horrifying sight. She didn't touch anything, instead she went to get her colleague, Mark Hoffman.

"They found her." Catherine approached Mark, gaining his attention. "We've lost another detective due to jigsaw." She sighed.

"Fetch the crime scene investigators if you already haven't" He replied coldly.

"They're on thier way." She said without getting a reply from Hoffman who was seemingly heading to the heart of the whole crime scene, the body.

"Why her though?" Turner asked breaking the silence.

"Hm?" Mark turned around, it was clear he wasn't paying attention to her last sentence.

"I said "why her?" ... I mean she didn't do anything for jigsaw to put her in a trap, or at least I hope so..." She repeated herself.

"Well, various people get locked into trap, it's jigsaw after all."

"Yeah, I know... Well maybe she was too smart to be on the case in the first place." Catherine sighed again, lowering her gaze down on the floor.

"Maybe... By that logic we should probably watch ourselves." He turned to her with an almost invisible smirk on his face.

"Detective Hoffman, detective Turner!" A woman called out thier names as she was walking down the stairs, approaching the crime scene. She was with a man and they were both dressed in suits. "They must be the feds." Catherine thought to herself.

"Yes?" Hoffman turned around gaining thier attention.

"I'm special agent Lindsey Perez, this is special agent Peter Strahm." She introduced herself and her colleague. They were probably there as an association with the police department.

"How can we help the FBI?" Catherine asked nonchalantly, softly raising her eyebrow as her and Mark eyed the agents.

"We're here because of detective Kerry. She was our liason." Lindsey replied while Peter began walking around with some kind of key in his hands.

"Open the door, you will find me." Strahm said all of the sudden as he walked around the crime scene. It looked like he was quoting something or like he was reading the sentence.

"What?" Hoffman turned around, so did all the people present. Peter suddenly threw the key he had in his hands at him, catching Catherine and him off guard.

"What's that?" Turner asked curiously as Hoffman looked at the key Peter threw at him.

"The key that came from the last message from detective Kerry. Does "open the door and you will find me" mean anything to you?" Strahm asked, approaching the two detectives again.

"No" Mark shook his head. All of the sudden, officer Rigg brushed past them. He gave all of them a stern look before going up the stairs.

"So where's the body?" Peter broke the silence before Catherine and Mark showed the way to the agents.

When they arrived at the scene itself, Mark disappeared with the other officer while Catherine was with Peter and Lindsey. The flashes from the cameras could be seen- the CSIs were still investigating the scene and were taking the evidence. Turner and the agents were quick to put on thier gloves and start to take a look at the crime scene themselves.

"The lock wasn't open. She couldn't get out." Perez knelt down before a pile of blood, looking at the peice of evidence laying there.

"It was constructed for her execution. In other words, the trap was rigged." Catherine stated, walking around the body that was hanging from a platform.

"So it wasn't a regular jigsaw trap then?" Lindsey raised her eyebrow, still looking at the pile of blood.

"No. Amanda Young the accomplice-" Catherine was going to reply but she was cut out by Strahm.

"This wasn't done by Amanda Young." Peter interrupted her all of the sudden.

"Excuse me?" Turner looked at Strahm, a bit of confusion could be seen on her face. This was obviously done by Amanda Young, or at least she thought.

"Detective Kerry weighted approximately 130 pounds. Amanda Young's arrest report says she weighted around 107. She couldn't get her up there all alone." Peter paced around the scene explaining his theory.

"Although your reasoning makes sense, that doesn't necessarily mean Amanda Young wasn't behind all this. Maybe there is someone who helped her but there can be more than one explanation." Catherine said backing up her own theory. She was looking at the platform itself, as well as Kerry's ribs that were evidently pulled out.

"John Kramer could've helped her too." She stated, adding up to her previous sentence.

"The cancer patient? He's brains, not brawn." Strahm replied, almost confidently.

"He was also an engineer. He could've rigged the pulleys-"

"Or there could be someone else who helped them. Like you said yourself, there can be more than one explanation." He interrupted her speech again, making her sigh quietly, in an annoying tone.

"Special agent if you're here for any other reason than just to assist, please don't bring it up. Our department is handling it solidly." Turner said, in other words, she was calling his view od situation utterly ridiculous.

"We're here to find the person your department couldn't detect if the one was helping John Kramer aka the jigsaw, and Amanda Young. Now  I'll need you to excuse me." He said that before brushing her off and walking out.

"Ugh" Catherine groaned silently, under her breath, as Peter walked out of her sight. She just met him and he pissed her off a little. She could see he was an arrogant type.

"What was that?" Lindsey walked up to her, surprising Catherine.

"Oh nothing." Catherine shrugged, shaking her head slightly and slowly began walking out.

"If it's about agent Strahm, I get it. I mean, he can be a little... intimidating." Perez admitted, causing Turner to turn around. Catherine totally didn't expect that.

"Oh I'm not intimidated by him... God no... It's just, he seems a little too confident. I know a guy like that too. Moreover i work with him." She said honestly, making Lindsey chuckle.

"Welcome to the club." Lindsey smiled softly as she walked past her. "Finally someone who seems friendly." Catherine thought. She hand an impression the two of them won't have tension while working together.
