Sayonara, Yoriichi-Sensei. Earning my own Blade!

Tanjiro went to the village where he left Raya. He then arrived at the baby-sitter's house and saw them outside the door waiting for him. He then paid them and picked up Raya from the baby-sitter. After reuniting with her brother after a week, Raya clings on her brother and was crying. He softly smiled at her and rocked her. After a while, she was yawning and said her first words.

Raya: Onii-Chan....

Tanjiro was shocked as he looked at Raya who was finally asleep. 

Tanjiro: Her first words were Onii-Chan....

Tanjiro softly smiled on the outside, but on the inside he was freaking out and celebrating that her first words were that. They arrived at the falls where Tanjiro laid Raya on the futon. He then went to search for Yoriichi. He then found him sitting besides the wisteria tree.

Tanjiro: Yoriichi-Sensei, I have returned.

Yoriichi was silent before sighing.

Yoriichi: Tanjiro, I'm glad that you have succeeded in becoming apart of the corps. However, I shall not join you on the path you shall walk.

Tanjiro: W-What do you mean?

Yoriichi: Tanjiro, when I first appeared to you, I only had three years of a physical form to train you. After that, I shall go to the afterlife.

Tanjiro was frozen and was tearing up.

Tanjiro: Y-You're leaving?

Yoriichi: My time was only limited, Tanjiro. The gods decided that I can train you, but only in a limited amount of time. And today is the day I will reunite with my love. 

Yoriichi turned to Tanjiro with a sad smile.

Yoriichi: Tanjiro, I am proud to be your sensei. I know you shall do amazing as a demon slayer.

Yoriichi gestured Tanjiro to come closer to him. Tanjiro walked towards him and was surprised to receive a hug from his sensei.

Yoriichi: Succeed in where I failed, my student. And even if you do fail, I shall meet you in the afterlife. And I will be proud of you no matter what.

Tanjiro broke down in tears and Yoriichi rubbed his back.

Tanjiro: I-I will d-do my b-best..... Yoriichi-Sensei!

Yoriichi smiled and closed his eyes. He the pulled away from the hug and sat back on the tree.

Yoriichi: Tanjiro, I have one last request I shall ask you.

Tanjiro: Whatever you want, I shall do it!!

Yoriichi: Even if I won't leave my body, make a grave next to this tree for me. I burried my wife next to one as well...

Tanjiro: Hai.

Then suddenly Yoriichi began fading away.

Yoriichi: I wish you the best of luck......Tanjiro.......

Yoriichi Tsugikuni was gone.

Tanjiro then made a grave for his beloved sensei. He then prayed in front of it.

Tanjiro: Arigato Gozaimasu, Yoriichi-Sensei. May you find peace in the afterlife....

Tanjiro then went to the house and see that Raya was still asleep in her crib. He smiles as he went outside and then continued his routine work out. He has to wait for ten to fifteen days for the swordsmith to arrive so he decides to pass time by training.

Tanjiro: Yoriichi-Sensei might be gone, but that doesn't mean I won't stop training my body.

Tanjiro takes out his temporary blade and took a deep breath. He turned to a nearby sakura blossom tree and took his stance.
