Tuesday Class time

Chloe's POV

I grabbed water and spat it out.

Blaming Dupain-Cheng for beating her up? Only an idiot would think that she would do that. Also, a smart move to do that when the teacher is out. She deserves a bronze medal.

Everyone is looking at Dupain-Cheng while she looks shocked. Did she not tell her the plan?

"I never did any of this! Lila is lying!" I guess no one cares about that.

"How could you, Marinette?"

"You are 100% Crazy!"

"You are going to pay for that!"

"She isn't the sweet one. She tricked us!"

I am going to chop their head off like a proper queen would.
Where is my axe when I need it? Do I have to...

"WHAT THE HELL!?!" Alya overheard everything, so she knows about Lila.

"What is wrong with you, dudes!?! Marinette would never hurt anybody like that!?!"

"Exactly! Besides, the bruises have glitter on them!" Nath stood up from his seat. I just noticed that he was recording the whole time.

"You guys are literal JERKS!" Alya shouted at our classmates.

"Marinette beat up Lila! She has bruises everywhere because of her." Mylene pointed at Mari cruelly.

Alya and Nino looked like they wanted to kill them.

At least they aren't the trashed friend of Mari.

I guess we found her true friends after all.

Meanwhile

Mari's POV

I am right now boiling in anger and felt my heart break.

They are believing her, who is lying to them with obviously faked evidence, over someone who has been there for their every up and down.

I cannot believe this. I trusted them.

Most of my ex-friends have been arguing with the only people that have stayed on my side since the very beginning.

I quietly left the class and headed to the bathroom to grab fresh air as Ladybug. I need to process this...

"Marinette!" I saw Adrien running towards me.

"Hey, Adrien." I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone right now.

"Look, I know you didn't do anything..."

"Thank God, another person who doesn't believe Lila's lies."

"Yeah, they are too obvious, to be honest. She used glitter makeup." We laughed at that.

At least he isn't one of those fake...

"How about you apologize to Lila and forget about everything?" I stopped laughing.

"What? But I didn't do anything! You know that."

"I know. It is just that you need to take the high road. This is for the sake that she wouldn't be akumatized, just like last year."

"What about me? I can get akumatized anytime as I am very heartbroken and angry at my ex-friends!"

"But you being akumatized wouldn't affect as much as her being akumatized."

"So you are saying that I am weak?"

"Not as a normal girl you are now, but as an akumatized villain you would be..."

Slap!

I slapped him hard on his pretty face. Pretty ugly face.

"Ow! What was that for..."

"You are a spineless coward! I cannot believe that I trusted you! I hate you so much!"

"I am trying to protect everyone..."

"NO! You are trying to protect your flata**! You are one of the best examples of a p***y!"

He flinched with a shocking mark on his face. He never heard me curse.

Actually, no one did. They are all outside seeing this scene with shock written on their faces.

I guess they came out when I started arguing with him.

"You need to apologize Lila..."

"I HAVE NO REASON TO BECAUSE I DIDN'T EVEN F**KING TOUCH HER!"

He was about to say something else, but I slapped him again.

"That's for being the worst 'just a friend' anyone could ask for!"

With that, I went back to the classroom, leaving all of them shocked, especially Adrien.

I feel relieved. I cannot believe he said that.

That feels good, actually. Being in charge than being pushed by all the time.

Meanwhile

Nino's POV

What in the living world happened there!?!

Not only the new student, Lila, obviously lied to us, but also I heard Mari curse for the first time in a long time, and she slapped Adrien.

Slapped him!?! Slapped him. Oh, ma gawd!

Everyone is looking shocked because of this. I am not surprised that they are.

I saw Miss Bustier walking her way back to the class, so we all returned to our seats.

When I looked at the back of the classroom, I saw Marinette in her seat.

Only the strangest thing is that she is smiling. More like smirking actually...

Hold up...

Did the team come back again to the game!?!

Oh, God.
