It was a casual day for Marinette and Alya. They were hanging out at Mari's place while eating macarons and playing video games.
"It isn't fair! You play this game more often than me!"
"Not my fault that you don't have it at your place!"
Marinette once again won another round of Mortal Komat while Alya resisted throwing the controller onto the computer.
It was when the video call request appeared on the screen. It was requested by a user called 'Mirabel,' who got Alya confused.
"Mari, who is Mirabel?"
"Oh... Well, remember that we went to Columbia for our school trip?" Alya nodded.
"Well, I met a nice family there, and... Yeah, Mirabel and I met as well, and she usually video calls me."
"What are you waiting for then? Answer it. I wanna meet her."
Once Marinette answers, a Columbian girl with round glasses and short curly hair is now seen on the computer screen.
"Hey, Marinette. Hey... Alya, right?"
"Yep. and you are..."
She fixed her glasses before she continued. "Mirabel. Nice to meet you."
"AND I AM CAMILO!!" A curly-haired boy with a yellow poncho is waving in the background.
"Yeah, I just wanted to tell you, Marinette, that Star has released a new book recently." Both Marinette and Alya looked shocked by this.
"A new book? She never informed me that we were in the new book once again."
Mirabel chuckled, making those girls confused. "But that is the thing. It isn't a Miraculous story this time. That is why I am here."
"HUH!?!"
"It is this time an Encanto story."
Indeed, Mirabel.
I decided to experiment a bit and do something old and new.
