DAMIA'S POV

"You know I didn't mean it like that, Toya!" "Oh but do I? You've called me a painting to my face a murderer to my back?" I get up to go towards the window. "Stay there, that's close enough." "Toya, I'm just worried... You popped for 6 different drugs! It doesn't even make sense to me how your running around the way you do!"
He tilts his head up, telling her he's listening.

TOYA'S POV

"How about, you tell me how you feel about me to my face." I hope down from the window, slowly walking over to her. "You and Hawks, you both woke me up and treated me like a king. On top of the world the other day. And now you go and say that? You trying to play with me, huh?" I step close to her, leaving a small gap between us.

"No-no I don't want to do that. I didn't mean it like that Toya. I'm honestly worried the drugs are starting to affect your way of thinking... Please think rationally!" "You don't think I have the right to be upset?" She steps away. "I did not say that, I'm just saying to take a deep breath and talk this out... Your smoking." I glance over to see smoke escaping my wrist, I wave it around till it stops.

"You're right," I take a deep breath. "Fuck you, don't talk to me unless you've got a good apology." I walk out of my room, leaving her alone there. Hawks looks at me like a gun went off. "What." "Nothing we can talk later..." "Good idea." I storm off to the gym, I toss my jacket on the floor, and pull my arm back as far as it'll go.

I take a deep breath and punch with all my might, flames erupt as my knuckles make contact and send my bag flinging off the connection fabric sewn at the top. I release my breath.

"My guy, you really need to calm down." Hawks says calmly, holding out a water bottle. I sigh and take it. "I just...I can't believe what Damia said about me. She called me a painting when she first saw me...and now, she saw the monster I hide away everyday."
Hawks places a hand on my shoulder. " We all make mistakes Toya, you just gotta start trying to fix them."

"Fix them? Yeah...that doesn't sound like a bad idea Hawks... But she needs to fix this one."
"Your right about that, I'm sure she will. And I'm sorry we went through your stuff...that's why she was scared."

"YOU WHAT?" I crush the bottle in my hands.
