I haven't seen Y/n in a little bit but today I have to testify against her. I can't even look at her but I have to do this for myself and Max.

"Do you swear to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth?" Judge Hayes asks.

"I do." I say.

"Ms. Steinfeld, please share your story." Liam says.

Y/n stares at me and I sigh.

"Y/n invaded Max's home and kidnapped me and him. She later shot her best friend, Chris, twice after finding out he was an informant." I say.

"She panicked and forced me and Max into a van. Max attempted to... subdue her but she shot him in the face once. She then took us into a field hid Max's body and shot me twice in the head." I say.

"She then drove away believing she had killed me." I say.

"Okay. How did you end up forming a relationship with Ms Y/l/n?" Liam asks.

"I woke up in the hospital, the same one Y/n worked at, having no memory." I say.

"I found her very beautiful because I didn't remember what a scumbag she was. I flirted with her and we went on a date together." I say.

"When did you begin to realize that Ms Y/l/n wasn't who she said she was?" Liam asks.

"I slowly began to regain my memory and the similarity between my assailant and Y/n was undeniable. I had Detective David Carter investigate her and got a warrant to search her apartment." I say.

"And how do you feel knowing this woman - who nursed you back to health, who you fell in love with, and who you thought you could trust - was the woman who tried to end your life?" Liam asks.

"I feel betrayed and like a fool." I say.

"Not only did Ms Y/l/n cause physical harm and try to cover it up, she caused emotional harm. Ms Steinfeld and the grieving families will never be able to heal." Liam says.

"No more questions, your honor." Liam says.

Time Skip

"Ms Y/l/n, do you feel sorry for that you did?" Judge Hayes asks.

"I do, I feel incredibly sorry. It was a very dumb decision but I cannot to go back and change it." Y/n says.

"I thought I'd never have to see you in this court room again after you custody case. How do you thin your daughter is gonna feel? How is she gonna feel knowing her mother is a cold-blooded murderer?" Judge Hayes says.

"Tell me, how you think she'll feel?" Judge Hayes asks as tears fill Y/n's eyes.

"She'll be very disappointed, your honor." Y/n says wiping her tears.

"She'll be more than disappointed. She'll be disgusted, more disgusted than anyone in this room." He says.

"Yes, she will." He says.

He sighs and grabs the sheet of paper in front of him.

"Let's begin." He says.

"On 1 count of home invasion, I will find you guilty. On 2 counts of first degree murder, I will find you guilty. On one count of attempted murder, I will find you guilty. And on one count of arson, I will find you guilty." He says.

Y/n widens her eyes and stares at him.

I don't think Y/n is processing any of this.

"Sentencing will take place next month." He says.

He hits the plate with the hammer and the guard puts Y/n in handcuffs.

This has been the craziest year of my life yet. I was kidnapped, watched my best friend get shot in the face, got twice shot in the back of the head, and fell in love with the woman who did it. I don't think my life can get crazier than this.

"How are you feeling?" Liam asks.

"I'm okay." I say.

"I just don't want to believe that the woman I loved did all of this. I'm just happy this is all over." I say.

"Yeah..." Liam says.

"If you ever need a friend, or a lawyer, call me." Liam says handing me a card.

I smile and nod. He smiles and walks away.

 He smiles and walks away
