Taro's response

Taro's POV:
Ughhh. Osana is so annoying sometimes.
I'm surprised that she is rooting for Oka Ruto.
Last month Osana confessed to me but I refused because I didn't feel the same way.
Osana was extremely upset, but I knew that this was for the best.
Raibaru told me that Osana would confess to me. Raibaru asked me to refuse. I would've refused regardless.
I was surprised when Raibaru told me that she liked Osana. I know that they will be happy together though.
Raibaru is planning on telling Osana sometime next week I believe.
"Oka."
"Ah. Y-yes T-Taro?"
"I don't know much about you, but I do want to learn. Are you free tomorrow evening? After club activities of course."
"I-I believe I a-am."
"Okay. Please meet me at the gate tomorrow after club activities."
"W-why?"
"I'm taking you on a date to Sisuta town. I believe that there is a nice restaurant there."
"T-there is."
"Great! I'm looking forward to our date." I say as I wink and bow.
I get up from my bow and look at Oka's bright face.
"I-I'm looking f-forward to it t-too!" She bows.
I laugh at her attempt to hide her face.
"I got to finish packing to leave. I'll see you tomorrow Oka." I say through my laugh.
"O-okay!" She says still bowing.
I bow and walk away.
She's the first girl who confessed to me that I'm taking out on a date.
My face slowly starts turning red.
I start running towards my classroom.
"Hey! Where's the fire?" I hear a girl say while laughing.
"I'm so sorry student council member Akane Toriyasu!" I bow.
"Hey it's alright! You're Yamada right?"
"Yes student council member."
"Why were you running?"
"I was at the Sakura tree and I needed to head back to my class to finish packing away my things."
"Ahh. I see. Was she upset?"
"What?"
"Why else would you be at that tree? Almost everyone knows that whenever you meet someone at that tree they normally come back crying."
"Oh. I didn't know my refusal made them that upset."
"Was she upset though? Was she crying?" Akane said with her typical grin. She is the scariest out of the the members, mainly because of her grin.
"Uhmm. No."
"So did you accept her confession?!"
For someone who fights against spreading gossip, she wants to know all of it.
"I think so?"
"Wow! So you the tears of Taro finally came to an end today!"
"I'm sorry the tears of what?"
"Don't worry about it."
"Okay?"
"Alright go finish packing up. You got some stairs to climb. Please don't run unless you are in an emergency or late to class." Akane bows.
I bow in confusion and walk away.
This is why I don't talk with the student council members.
