One day xie lian was just minding his own business until his world was suddenly sucked from his feet. The light around him was bright and he heard a couple of voices. "Who is that?.." Someone said. "Must be a martial god!" Another said. That's when Xie Lian realized he is back in heaven for a third time. The light around him died down and smoke cleared everyone sweat dropped and gasped.
Everyone had knew that their emperor had been waiting for this god of misfortune for ages. Everyone had bowed and said their greetings. Xie Lian was dumbfounded, just what happened? All of a sudden he was given such respect unlike the other times he ascended. Xie Lian sighed brushing off debris from himself until he heard a certain female voice. "Your highness." Ling Wen spoke. "Oh, hello Ling Wen!" He smiled walking over to the blue robed woman.
"Your highness you have missed out on quite a bit these 800 years." Xie Lian chuckled slightly. "Eh did I?" Ling Wen nods, "We have a new emperor." Xie Lian's eyes widened, "What had happened to the old emperor?" Ling Wen looked down and her brows furrowed. "Jun Wu was actually the White No Face." Xie Lians eyes widened being taken aback by the sudden news. The person he trusted so much was actually the one who had ruined him and his entire life.
"Why would he- why?" He said shooken. "That was our thoughts as well but the new emperor had gave enough evidence mostly based on your past and had defeated the emperor even himself admitting it." Ling Wen spoke softly giving Xie Lian a sympathetic gaze. "Also your highness you are 8.88 million merits in debt." Xie Lian sweat dropped. 'Already?' He thought. "Is there anyway I can repay it?" He asked. "I don't think you will need to repay it... also we are having a meeting at the Palace of Devine Might for your ascension." Ling Wen added. "Why a meeting?" He asked. "The emperor said it was confidential, but he seems to take a severe liking to you. I cannot say much about the emperor because he dislikes being talked about." Ling Wen said.
"Thank you Ling Wen." Xie Lian said with a small smile. "It is my duty your highness, we shall meet again tomorrow under noon. May heavens officials bless you." She said before he headed back to the mortal realm.
