"Saph are you sure you won't get in the water? It looks pretty fun." Alexis says as she is sitting on a towel with Sapphire.

"I'm sure. Hey Tope. Watch the sand." Sapphire says annoyedly as Topaz runs over dripping wet.

"Why? What's it doing?" Topaz asks curiously as she shakes the water off onto Sapphire.

"Now I'm all wet!" Sapphire shouts angrily.

"Hello! There's a whole ocean right there. You're supposed to get wet." Topaz says.

"Guys can I tell you something I've never told anyone before?" Sapphire asks.

"Of course Saph." Alexis says as she looks at Sapphire.

"We're here for you." Topaz says.

"Well about the ocean-" Sapphire then gets cut off by Ruby.

"Surf's up!" Ruby shouts.

"Gotta go!" Topaz says as she runs off with her board.

"So what's up?" Alexis asks as she looks at Sapphire.

"Well I- Oh no. Look!" Sapphire shouts as she and Alexis see the others getting attacked by a giant sea serpent.

"Sea monster!" Alexis shouts.

"We gotta do something! Oh no!" Sapphire shouts as she runs over to the water before running back.

"Saph where are you going?" Alexis asks as she runs over to the water.

"To find my spell beads." Sapphire says as she runs over in a floaty and begins looking in the water.

"Sapphire I can't do this by myself. That thing is too big." Alexis says as she hears the others screaming for help before seeing Onyx has saved the others as they get out of the water.

"Got them! Are you guys okay?" Sapphire asks as she and Alexis run over.

"Yeah. No thanks to you. Why didn't you help Alexis to try and help us?" Ruby asks angrily.

"Well I-I tried-" Sapphire then gets cut off by Ruby.

"Forget it!" Ruby says angrily.

"That serpent was cranky." Onyx says.

"He almost had an early lunch." Topaz says.

"I've had enough surfing. I'm going home." Ruby says as she and the others leave.

"Saph it's okay. We tried." Alexis says as she looks at a sad Sapphire.

"I know but still." Sapphire says sadly.

"I know. Come on. Let's head back." Alexis says.

*Timeskip*

"So what happened back there?" Alexis asks as she is walking beside Sapphire.

"Alexis I have been keeping something to myself but I-" Sapphire then gets cut off by some tiki monsters causing her and Alexis to scream getting the attention of the others.

"Scary monsters sprang a trap. To chase them off should be a snap!" Ruby shouts as she casts a spell onto the towels causing the monsters to run off.

"Thanks Ruby." Alexis says.

"No biggie. Unlike some trolls I know I'm happy to help my friends." Ruby says as Sapphire gives a sad look.

*Timeskip*

"You kids weren't the only ones who met up with monsters today. I got chased three blocks by an angry bus bench. Actually it caught me." Spinell says as the group is later back at the house.

"So where are all these monsters coming from anyway?" Alexis asks.

"I've got a theory about that. I think our big battle with Simon stirred up all the island magic that that so many years lay dormant." Spinell says.

"Well that explains it but how do we get it to stop?" Alexis asks.

"There's a legend about a secret place somewhere on the island. A hidden canyon that's the center of all the mystical energy. And there's an ancient spell carved onto a tablet that will put all of the monsters to sleep again." Spinell says.

"Did you read that in a book?" Onyx asks as Spinell picks up a book.

"Nah. Some guy at the pharmacy told me. Anyway as long as there are monsters on the island I want you girls to stick together. And you keep watch on them Alexis. You were born and raised here up until a couple years ago. You know this island and its capabilities. You keep watch over your friends." Spinell says.

"Yes Spinell." Alexis says.

"Maybe some of us don't want to help each other. Right Sapphire? Sapphire?" Ruby asks before the group see Sapphire is gone.

"She's gone!" Alexis says in alarm.
