This narrative is canon compliant as possible but with the narrative that two fifth-years, instead of one, arrive in Hogwarts 1890. The twins were adopted from China by an Irish Muggle couple. Their birth parents remain unknown so it's possible that the children are either muggleborns and/or pure-bloods.
Although they're twins, Arlo and Willo were sorted into two different houses. They may have different values and methods on how they approach the world and the people in it but they're both very protective, loyal, and tough. They're stronger together and they always look out for another.

He's polite and friendly but also strict and firm when he needs to be. He's eager to learn new things— inside or outside of classes and he wishes to study the ancient magic he possesses. Sometimes Arlo is prone to burning out but his sister knows how to help him loosen up when the situation calls for it.

Often her twin has to bail her out of trouble or steer her away from it. She has a sense of right and wrong but is admittedly tempted by the unconventional. She likes to be rewarded when helping others but when it comes to helping her family or her friends, she's willing to go through hell with only her moral compass holding her back. She doesn't fully understand her ancient magic but she wants to put her power to good use.
