─────────────────

YOUNG PETER WALKS alongside young Marlo, walking down the staircase leading towards the locker rooms where teenage Derek is currently sitting with water pouring over his head.

Hearing two heartbeats, he growls at the incoming people before him.

Young Marlo takes a step back still also learning how to control her vampire abilities but also slightly afraid of the boy she claims to be her best friend.

After Paige's death and young Marlo's return, Talia helps the young girl try and control her urge for blood.

Which continues being a success, young Peter walks towards the taps of the shower turning to the handles to stop the water flow, picking the werewolf up by his basketball jersey.

"I thought—I thought I could control it" young Derek says out of breath, "All this risk, just for a basketball game?" young Peter asks.

"It's the finals, they need me" young Derek states breaking out his uncles hold and walking towards his locker where young Marlo's currently standing.

"To do what? Rip someone's throat out on the court?" young Peter curiously asks.

"Even born wolves have to learn control on a full moon, Derek" young Peter than states to his young nephew who's leaning against the locker.

Marlo looks at the boy concerned, "Yeah, but it's supposed to be easier for us, why does it hurt like this?" young Derek asks looking at his uncle.

"Did you bring it?" young Peter asks stepping closer to the teenagers.

"It's not working" young Derek states, "Did you bring it?" young Peter asks more demanding.

Stepping closer towards the painting boy, young Derek leans against the locker digging into his basketball shorts getting the object out and showing his uncle and his best friend.

"Go ahead" the young man demands, young Derek pants as he tightens his hold on the triskelion.

"I told you, it's not working" young Derek states looking at the circled object in his hand.

"Do it" the young man demands,"Alpha, beta, Omega" the young boy starts chanting.

"Again" young Peter demands, "Alpha, beta, omega" the young boy repeats growing more and more annoyed and breathless.
