The Beast and Me

Chapter 4 - The ball...

Lisa POV:

"We're going to be late Chitt!" My dad shouted as she sprayed perfume on us before smiling at me,

"Ready?!" She shouted as my dad groaned,

"Here is my beautiful princess!" My mother shouted as I walked to the top of the stairs looking down to see my dad and two brothers looking up at me with their jaw dropped,

"Careful boys, you might catch a fly" she say as I giggle and walk down the stair being careful in the white heels my mom managed to buy,

After spending the whole day designing and stitching both of our dresses from some of the cloth pieces my mother always had for when she made all our clothes on her own, my mother finally finished making a beautiful white sleeveless dress that was curved perfectly around my curves. It was laced at the top and plain white and sparkly designs around the twirls at the bottom. The bottom flowed around at the top of my knees to the bottom of my feet. It was very beautiful and went perfect with the white necklace my mother gave me, it was once hers that her mother gave her when she was younger. It was a white necklace that had the letter L that sparkled brightly. She curled my brown hair that flowed down my back and laced white glitter around the curls as I smiled when she did light make up on me before painting my nails white and finally deciding to show the rest of my family how I looked.

"So......how do I look?" I ask as the three guys in front of me in tuxedos continued to stare at me star struck,

"Hello?" My mother ask snapping her fingers as they shook their heads,

"Great....now change" My brother say with a frown before my mom rolled her eyes and dragged me to the car,

"Lets go!" She snapped as we all hurried out to the horse and carriage our father built a long time ago when he saved up his money to buy the cheapest one he could afford in our village,

"Its going to be so much fun" My mom say as I smile and my brother continues to stare out the window angrily,

"Lets go make your big entrance" My mom say dragging me towards the castle as soon as our carriage came to a stop,

"Oh my gosh" My mother shrieks as we entered the elegant castle hearing classy music being played,

"Ladies and Gentlemen" The beta of our pack announced as we stood in the back of all the people in the village who were dressed nicely,

"Alpha Jennie" he announces as people gasps and some clapped as a very familiar scent hit my nose,

Uh oh....it can't be....my mate was...

My thoughts were cut off when a very tall and muscular woman stood in front of everyone confidently. My wolf went wild when I saw her face. Her built body was very noticeable in the black and white tuxedo she was wearing. Her face looked like it was carved by angels, her jawline was so sharp it could cut a piece of paper easily. Her lips looked so delicious and above her nose were very beautiful cat eyes. Her black hair looked very soft for some reason.

My thoughts were cut off when she noticed the scent of her mate picked up since her eyes became darker and her nose was lifted while she searched around the room. I gasped before looking down not wanting to be seen. I turned around to try to walk away before a loud growl shook through the castle as people screamed. I turned around to see the people moving away from the black wolf I saw yesterday. I froze where I was not noticing I was the only person who didn't move when she was growling. I was the only person standing in front of her as people looked at me as if I was dead meat. She didn't notice me till I took one step back, since I was wearing heels on tile floors it made a loud tapping sound as her head snapped towards me and my blood ran cold when our eyes connected.
