It was so hot. Hotter than I'd known. The corridor was burning so bright there was an ominous amber hue.
I knew there was only one way out and that was through the first floor window. Without hesitation I ran at full speed and threw myself at the window, the glass shattering around me as i flew into the much cooler, breathable air. It felt heavenly until it dawned on me that I would need to land. I braced myself for impact and landed on a large crash mat, the air being knocked out of me.
"Perfect Alex! Cut!"
