hi, yes, it's me, i've returned after almost....i don't really care how many years, but heyyyyyyyyyyy.

i swore to myself i would never write fanfiction again. i graduated college, i got my degree, i got a boyfriend, my...dad died ?????????????????? (that wasnt part of the plan)
point is, i was never gonna write again.
and then i watched spiderman: across the spiderverse
and then i saw miguel o'hara

KEY THINGS TO REMEMBER FOR THIS FIC
1. This is a self insert fic, but I'm keeping it relatively gender neutral in terms of pronouns. If I slip up let me know and I'll fix it (i have never proofread anything in my life)
2. Because reading fics with a main character that has a name feels less...immersive? this WILL be a fic with (Y/N) in it. deal with it, i don't really care.
3. FOR THE SAKE. OF. THE PLOT. you will be a person of asian and latin descent, and you WILL KNOW HOW TO SPEAK SPANISH IN THIS FIC. TRUST ME ON THIS. ITS FOR THE PLOT. (i will provide translations)
4. there WILL be a mature smexy scene but, however, it will be male x female solely because idk how to write MLM smut,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, sorry :(
5. there MAY or MAY NOT be spoilers from ATSV, i don't really know as I'm writing this. but Miguel's character is based on what is shown in the movie (I haven't read the comics but i heard he's a lillllllllll cray cray so i'm just gonna....leave that be)
6. the POVs in this fic will change sometimes, but i'll tell you at the beginning when it does. some chapters will be in your POV, others will be in Miguel's or other characters. It's also for the plot.
7. ALSO FOR THE PLOT, this takes place in between ITSV and ATSV. This makes it so I don't have to work around an already written plot and I'm free to kind of do what I want.
